Vejvanovski est un musicien qui mériterait d'être plus connu. Une oeuvre émouvante avec de belles voix et de beaux chorals. La trompette donne de la solennité à l'ensemble de cette messe.

👏👏👏👏👏 🎶⚜👑⚜🎶 👏👏👏👏 A very nice, excellent interpretation! I like the way Bob plays here calmly and simply, without the (too) often heard ornamentation. He plays the wide arcs on the wonderfully (low!) tuned harpsichord very calmly and gently. It is precisely this deep mood that gives Frohberger's suite additional charm, depth and aura. My second favourite English Suite (the d is my first.) Rousset makes whatever clavecin he is playing come alive. If you get a chance, listen to his recording of Rameau's Pièces de Clavecin. richard --

This might be one of the shortest concertos. My recently completed 11 vignettes Rasputin Rhapsody is 7 times longer, and though my great opus is very worthy it can't hold a candle to this brief concerto.
