It’s unclear to me what you are doing when you bring in the drone for the battery swap … What is the step by step process to send it back up , pull up the saved waypoint mission, turn off the waypoint , they go into hyperlapse Thanks
@amoktimefliesКүн бұрын
Hey Clifford - thanks for watching… So - take off, click on the waypoints icon on the left of the screen, and then where the waypoint stuff comes up at the bottom of the screen, click on the 3 dots then the piece of paper icon. Select the last waypoint mission in the screen that comes up, then hit ‘go’. Once the drone has reached position exit out of waypoints by clicking on the waypoints icon again at the left side of the screen. Then set up your hyperlapse. Alternatively you can just use the waypoints option within the hyperlapse function which to be honest is probably the simpler way to do it! 🖖
@cliffordenglish724Күн бұрын
@@amoktimeflies The later part .. can that flight mission be saved so that when I bring it up the drone will go back to the same place? And will all of the parameters be locked in as well or will those have to be manually set ?
@amoktimefliesКүн бұрын
Yep - if you use the waypoints option withing the hyperlapse function that will be saved as well - so you can take off, select hyperlapse -> waypoints and you should see a ‘paper’ icon there where you can select the previous hyperlapse with all the same settings… (As I said in the intro - I just make things really hard for myself 😂)🖖

These mini drones are a lot of fun. I would recommend anyone get one and enjoy it. You will love it. It is a wee bit pricey but once you get it you got it, it's worth the saving and the fun factor is through the roof. It doesn't matter what you fly, be it an avata 2 or mini 4 pro which are the 2 I own, or some other brand or type of drone it is as long as you have one you need to fly it.

Hello there. Tried it the way you described. When the waypoints are set and I want to enter the hyperlapse thing my M4pro says "Can't enter the hyperlapse as long as you plan your waypoint-stuff". Sorry for my English. What is wrong with me???
@amoktimeflies6 күн бұрын
No worries bud - I've got you covered! It's probably simpler to create a way point hyperlapse with 2 points that are basically in the same place. That way you can also save that to repeat several times. If you DO use the waypoints method as shown you just need to exit that waypoints mission *then* set up your hyperlapse. The waypoints mission is purely there to 'mark the spot' that you were in before. Hope that helps and sorry for any confusion! 🖖
@rainerlehmann44246 күн бұрын
@@amoktimeflies Thx for the answer...now I know what went wrong. I'll go outside now to test it although I'm quite sure that not ending the waypoint mission was the mistake that caused the whole desaster. Again: Thank you!!!

No Worries - just make sure to click on the waypoints icon on the left hand side of the screen to come out of it before you start your hyperlapse (I've slept on it - I think that is probably what was happening!) Good Luck! 🖖

Whoa Love this channel. Btw can i ask what are the ND filter that are essentials? I can buy them piece by piece in my country. May i know ur pick on which nd filter would you only use? I dont want to spend alot to get too many nd filter thats i eventually dont need
@amoktimeflies10 күн бұрын
Thankyou! That’s a very good question - if I could only have one then my pick would be an ND32 - this is my default filter day to day, just because of the mix of weather we have in the UK. If you have mainly very bright days with few clouds I would possibly recommend the ND64 and conversely if you have mainly cloudy days then possibly an ND16. If you live near water then possibly try to find a polarised ND32 as this would help with reflections and also give more of a saturated look to the image of the sky (which some people like). I hope that’s helpful and thanks for watching!🖖
@Messi10billy10 күн бұрын
@@amoktimeflies Hi thank you for the reply Just subscribed So just skip nd 6, how about nd 64? Is it an essential? Kinda hard to find n64

You're making a point of VLOS, then the drone is over 1300 metres away. No, you can't convince me you can actually spot it at that distance 😂😂😂
@amoktimeflies18 күн бұрын
OMG! I had to check myself - 1383m actually!. That is amazing! I don't tend to pay that much attention to the telemetry on the screen when flying as I'm so conscious of keeping keeping the drone in VLOS. I can honestly say that I could see it the whole time, but at the same time can 100% understand your comment! - I can only think that with the incredibly clear and cloudless sky and with the sun low and behind me it was just a complete outlier as far as VLOS was concerned! I'm paranoid now that perhaps I was watching a bird or something and not the drone! Need to do some experiments I think - shame days like that in the UK are few and far between... Anyway - thanks for watching! 🖖

That's a great video and the voice over was fab. Well I managed to get my drone in the outside air this week but it was only for a few mins, n nothing special as I was on a caravan park and it being a club site they do not allow drones to be flown from the site. I basically went up to 30 meters and about 50 meters away just across some farm fields, I have to say that it's surprising what you can see by going up only a small hight. also very surprised that you don't have to go very high before you can no longer hear then drone in the air anyhow hope to get some proper footage very soon and upload it for the world to see my master piece ...HAHAHA Been getting lots of ideas from your vids as wel Take care and all the best to you

Excellent video! One thing... You do not film, you video. Film, filming, and filmmaking are the most misused words in the industry. 🙂 Digital Video and film require different skill sets. Having DIFFERENT historical and TECHNOLOGICAL timelines spanning 150 years. Have pride and knowledge of the gear we use including the words that describe what we do. Our tools are Digital Video, Non-linear, and CGI. We are moviemakers, not filmmakers. We do what film wished it could. We are Videographers and/or cinematographers. 🙂 We video or are videoing, we do not film. That's the other RARE professionals who know how to use film and film cameras, like an ARRIFLEX 435 Panavision R-200 and Steenbeck flatbed film editors. Know the difference and have a better understanding of the craft. You will also stand out in an industry polluted with point-and-shoot "pros". Respect to you.✌♥

Movement is the key I think - so if you're down close to the ground and there's movement then it helps - even if on auto. But if up high as many of your legendary vids are, then not really needed as much. Your Sunday Walk was a lovely film - really nicely timed. (like I'm f-ng Barry Norman! 🤣) With some of the low altitude shots with the water and the wheel - I'm (genuinely) wondering if they might have been more 'cinematic' with a lower shutter speed. I really look forward to your videos 😀 Now I may be a bit strange (it's my age) but, I prefer look of the non ND filtered footage. The unsullied video, to me, looks more exciting and dynamic. It also affords the opportunity to freeze frame and take a sharp still image if you see something interesting post flight. I am sure ND filters have there place for some, but . . . Keep up the sterling work!
@amoktimeflies25 күн бұрын
Thanks Johnny! Yeh - there are reasons not to use them, and as you say - if you want to take especially detailed and sharp screenshots then that would be the way to go - especially if at altitude. I just find that for scenes with a lot of movement in or close to the ground, the video that is produced is a lot easier on the eye and more cinematic, but you do you (and you do it very nicely! 😁) All the best!🖖
