@@Tracy-rf7ri These type trimmers were a godsend until the feds forced ethenol (corn) into our fuel. The clump I found in the carb is 🌽 corn!

I have a series 2000 LT2180. I haven’t tested anything with a multimeter yet but it just shutoff while I was running it. I still get lights with the key on so I’m not sure if that means it’s not the fuse or not. But I was thinking it would be the seat switch. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get it out from the seat. It’s in the gray mount and I can see where the pieces move and latch but nothing seems to budge

Thank you so much! I had a right headlight that wouldn’t turn on and a traction control light on and off in the dash. I used your exact instructions and I had no problems. My headlight is back on and I had no problems with your instructions. Followed to a t and had no problems. That’s do much. You saved me big money.

Suppose to have 1/8' to 1/4" toe in on front tires. I get one tire adjusted straight ahead with the steering wheel straight ahead and use flat washers as spacers to tighten the hold down nut with just a few turns then measure with a tape the amount of thread showing past where the tie rod end screws to the tie rod. Then I screw the other tie rod end onto the rod leaving the same amount of thread as the other one. Put tie rod end on with washers so it only takes a few turns to tighten it and check the toe in by measuring the distance between the rear of the front tires and the distance between the front of the front tires and adjust each side a little from there if necessary to get the 1/8 to 1/4" toe in. Then take the washers off and tighten the hold down nut and the 11/16" rod lock nut. I don't bother with lining up the rear tires with the front tires.

A bad ground can effect everything or anything from your dome light to the 4x4.

2024 update! The tires have rotted ! Literally! Tread separation+broken ply cords. Harbor Freight has replacements wheels+tire+tube+bearings for under $20 each.

take off 4 bolts easy from underneath and the engine comes right ff and dont need to--just slide it back to take old belt off an dput new on. (if the pully gets stuck on)

A broken ground on brake fluid reservoir will NOT turn on brake light! It works the opposite way. When fluid is too low the signal wire from computer is then drawn to ground through the switch in bottom of reservoir, causing light to come on. So a missing or broken ground will keep the light from coming on, not the other way around.

If it was made at the Westmoreland factory it would date to the 1970's. If it was made in the same mould by Summit Art Glass it would date circa 2000- 2005.

I actually do not know about that side. I went and looked at it and I could not determine for sure that is where that ground goes. Your possible choices are: 1. Go ahead and do my repair and see if it works 2. Determine which of the 3 wires at the back of the bulb connector is the ground (I don't know), go back 4-5 inches, splice a new wire to it and attach it somewhere close by to the fender. 3. Look for another video for that side light. Sorry. You will eventually need my repair anyway. Good luck!

1P1R is one pulse per 1 revolution is for a 2 stroke. 1P2R is 1 pulse per 2 revolutions is for a 4 stroke. You have a 4 stroke. Set it to 1P2R.
