I have been on a "Solihulliday" not too long ago (near Birmingham), and I was very surprised to see a Pétanque club in Solihull! Lucky I brought six balls with me, so I and my friend were able to jump straight into a training session and play along. :)

Thanks for all the comments, I gave up on this device and following the old adage “ buy cheap - buy twice” I bought a new DashCam from Thinkware. I bought it in 2018 to go with my new car (all electric) had it professionally installed and it works great. Obviously and unfortunately I didn’t buy a Tesla (model I wanted wasn’t available in the U.K.) if I had I would not have needed a DashCam as a Tesla does all that plus of course Sentry Mode! Now waiting to buy a Model Y when available in the U.K. 👍

I have been using similar dashcam with the same app UI. The camera itself is not a good quality (maybe just 2mp)and the recording from this camera is low (even if you put HIGH DEFINITION in the setting). It is not a 720p quality. Maybe around 360p or less. For the app, I must say that this app is RUBBISH. I think the developer is either lazy or know little about building an interactive app. You cannot view recorded video in thumbnails. In fact there is no menu to view your recordings. You have to scroll the timeline to see your previous recordings. In your timeline you can see a highlighted time to show recording. To download it is like hell. You cannot choose which time frame you want and you cannot download the whole video. You need to select parts but the parts showed did not tell you which time frame. So you have to select it by guessing (which is ridiculous). Better use PC to copy files from your SD card.

My camera came with NO instructions, just a QR code to get an APK app. I managed to download and install it and was pleased when it connected first time without even the need for the password. The app did not appear to give me access to recordings but I could view them on my PC from the SD card. However after a couple of successful connections, the app will now NOT connect to the camera. I am very disappointed with the camera and app!
