A3 should be title "Georgia Mail" or "Bringing in the Georgia Mail" not "Roust-a-Bout." Thanks for posting. I had this on an eight track tape back in the seventies when I was a kid.

Listening to Dand Mountain....beautiful playin', such a haunting melody, I love this song! It's been in my head for about 40 years now.

It's been many years ago, but The Stonemans came to a tiny Lil patch of country called Hugo, NC. It was at the Hugo Outdoor Theater, and my Daddy worked at the farm owned by the same Hill Family. He bought this very album, and I saw so many grins and toes tappin", Daddy was so very happy when he had yall on the turntable. I learned to live bluegrass, and its history, from The Stonemans. Daddy's been hone 9 years tomorrow, and when I found this on KZfaq, I felt like he was right here with Mr, grinnin", drummin" his calloused hands and fingers, and grinnin' from ear to ear. This farmer's daughter lovestruck miner's child and White Lughtnin' #2 just don't sound right from anyone else. Thank you, all, for a lifetime of memories, and thank you for makin' my Daddy so happy. May you always Be Blessed and always ALWAYS know that you all made a huge impact on many of us. With nothing but love and appreciation, and respect. I love yall❤🎉

I was not aware that Dudley Connell was part of the super artists group called "Longview", with greats like J.D. Crowe, Marshal Wilburn, Joe Mullins, Don Rigsby, Lou Reid, the great James King and Ron Stewart. Ron and Dudley continue to perform together with "Seldom Scene".

I discovered bluegrass ten years ago, at the age of 60. A true regret is not getting to see these guys when they were together. This has eased that somewhat. Thanks for posting !

They were such a great duo and I am really enjoying hearing some songs for the first time. Their harmonies were so tight and I can only dream of cross- picking as well as Jesse.

They were such a phenomenal group and one couldn't ask for a better reception by the Japanese people. They were wild about them and showed their great appreciation after every song.

I had dinner at the Brooklyn Grill in Dover, Ohio, sitting next to Jim & Jesse after a Bluegrass Festival in the mid 70's. Also met Joe Meadows @ Point Pleasant, W. Va. back in those days. They were all great musicians!
