Revelation 1:8 was the Father talking. The word "Jesus" is not specifically there in Revelation 1:8. Even if He's referred to a verse before. But verses before say that the faithful and true witness is someone DISTINCT from the one "who is, was, and coming". There's a distinction in Revelation 4 between the Lamb who takes the scroll out of the hand of the One who "is, was, and coming". Revelation 1:8 is not clearly explicitly Jesus talking.
