Good insights into mining environmental management. It would be good to assess the benefits of the practices after many years.

Household waste management in other districts aside the cities has shown no improvement as the municipal councils do not collect waste hence household are still digging rubbish pits which does not solve the problem of environmental waste management.No collection of waste means no opportunities for the emergence of recycling companies hence more environmental problems. furthermore, if separation of waste is to be a success in public areas ,the bins should be labelled in a language the majority understand i.e local language and/ or both local language and English accopanied by pictures.

The environment consists of biotic and abiotic Factors...

We have a long way to go in environmental management especially in the mining industry. Its good to to see Kalumbila doing some of these things.
