​@@markwalkerdrumspossibly. A snare to the left of the hi-hat set up that way and perhaps with a slightly thicker snare head, wouldn't want to put an ambassador there but worth a try

@@markwalkerdrums It's actually kind of cosmic that this vid wound up in my feed today, because I was just listening to an album by trumpet player Jeff Beal, right before I watched it, and Vinnie was on this one track that was in 5, doing some of the same ride-cymbal phrasing that he did on Seven Days. I was thinking to myself, "I should do a drum cover of this song," and then this video popped up. I guess the universe wants me to play that song and play some dotted eighths over the top of it! Lol! Thanks for the upload and for all of your super helpful videos!
