പറയുമ്പോൾ പേടിപ്പിക്കാൻ എന്ന് കരുതരുത്.. എന്റെ മോൻ 8 മാസത്തിൽ അച്ഛൻ, റ്റാറ്റാ, ബൗ ബൗ,കൈ, കാൽ, തല, വീട്ടിലെ മൈഡ് നെ അക്ക എന്നൊക്കെ വിളിച്ചിരുന്നു. എല്ല്ലാരുടേം കൂടെ നന്നായി സോഷ്യലൈസ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.. 6 മാസം മുതൽ ഫീഡിങ് ബോട്ടിൽർ സ്വന്തമായി പിടിച്ചു പാൽ കുടിച്ചിരുന്നു. കുട്ടികളുടെ കൂടെ മുതിർന്നവരുടെ കൂടെ ഒക്കെ നന്നായി കളിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. വളരെ ചെറുപ്പത്തിലേ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് ചെയ്തു തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങള കുട്ടി സ്മാർട്ട്‌ ആണ് എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചു.10 മാസത്തിൽ നടക്കാനും തുടങ്ങി. പക്ഷെ മറ്റു കുട്ടികളിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി ഹാൻഡ് ഫ്ലാപ്പിംഗ്, റൂട്ടിൻ ബ്രേക്ക്‌ ആകുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ള അനിയന്ത്രിത കരച്ചിൽ,പേരുവിളിച്ചാൽ റെസ്പോൺസ് കുറവ്, eye കോൺടാക്ട് കുറഞ്ഞു വന്നത്, മുടിവെട്ടിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ള കരച്ചിൽ, നിയന്ത്രിക്കാൻ ആകാത്ത വാശി, 1 വയസ്സിനിപ്പുറം ഡെവലപ്പ് ആകാത്ത സ്പീച് ഇതൊക്കെ ആദ്യം ഒരു pediatrician ന്റെ എടുതു എത്തിച്ചു, അയാൾ ഒരു പ്രോബ്ലെവും ഇല്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. പക്ഷെ 2.5 വയസ്സ് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഇതേ അവസ്ഥ മാറാതെ ഇരുന്നപ്പോൾ നാട്ടിൽ കാണിച്ചപോൾ ആണ് ഓട്ടിസം diagnose ചെയ്തത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഓട്ടിസ്റ്റിക് ആയ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഒന്നിലും ഡെവലപ്പ്മെന്റ് ഉണ്ടാകില്ല എന്ന് പറയാൻ കഴിയില്ല. എന്റെ മോനു ഇപ്പോൾ 6.5 വയസ്സ്. സ്കൂളിൽ പോയി തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ therapy എല്ലാം നിർത്തി. ഇപ്പോ വളരെ കുറച്ചു മാത്രം സംസാരിക്കും. അതും ക്ലിയർ അല്ല.... എഴുതാനും വായിക്കാനും ഒക്കെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് ആണ്.. പക്ഷെ പഴയ അവസ്ഥ യിൽ നിന്നും ഒരുപാടു മാറ്റം ഉണ്ട്. നിങ്ങളുടെ കുട്ടിക്ക് ഇപ്പോൾ ഡെവലപ്പ്മെന്റൽ സ്റ്റേജ് ആണ്.. ഇപ്പോൾ ഓട്ടിസം ഉണ്ടോ, ഇല്ലയോ എന്നൊന്നും വേവലാതിയപ്പെടേണ്ട. അതൊക്കെ 2 വയസ്സ് കഴിഞ്ഞേ തീരുമാനിക്കാൻ പറ്റൂ. കുട്ടിക്ക് കഴിയുന്നത്ര exposure കൊടുക്കുക, സ്പീച് ഡെവലപ്പ് ചെയ്യാൻ സഹായിക്കുക. സ്വന്തം ലോകത്തേക്ക് ചുരുങ്ങിപ്പോകാതെ എപ്പോളും socialization നു ഉള്ള സാദ്ധ്യതകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുക.
