God I love this song. It's so scary and unnerving. The music add so much to this preformance. Love the Corus line,when yall swayed to mimic the boat rocking. Little touches like that go along way, and the Amazing looking whale. It looks so fierce and hateful. I love it

The band ,what a voice he has and the group is just fantastic and charismatic I just discovered the Decemberists and this song a week ago with all the drawings accompanying The singing This I think was far superiorTo seeing the drawings

The bassist fucking killed it with subtlety, humor, and professionalism in his stage presence. The keyboard breakdown at around 7:00 was a lot fun, like a hyperspace trip going down the whale's throat.

I sang this in the talent show my senior year, got a buddy to play the guitar and sing back-up. I thought it was pretty awesome, and this song plucks at my heartstrings every time I hear it, especially the acoustic version.

Love the postal service and death cab the really need to get a new album I've been waiting for 6 years now and still no album. And Death Cabs last album (Narrow Stairs) was weak compared to Plans and Transatlantisim. Great version of the Air though.
