The way this offense has been lacking Ozuna is the most valuable player in baseball right now!

Randy arozerana is obtainable. I think in a trade for any above average player Bryce elder will be involved in the trade. The rays are certainly gonna be a main trade partner for us as we have already inquired about Zack eflin

A lot of factors going into this situation: Which teams are in and Which teams are out? Who fits? Who's available? How much would/will the return be? Player contracts; Both yrs and $$ And don't forget- Braves still need to add another starter at some point

They could be 15 games out at the trade deadline. The trade deadline may be too late.
@BravesOnDeck21 сағат бұрын
I don't deny that at all. Joc Pederson was obtained well before the deadline back in 2021. I would expect something similar to happen soon, if the Braves front office believes in the pieces we have... and why wouldn't they?

Rooker and Miller from Oakland. We need good players, not over the hill players that are hitting 200 for depth. Give Forrest Wall a legit chance at least 3-4 starts a week for a couple months.

I spoke about it in the later part of the video. Just remember, Bryce Ball got us Joc Pederson in 2021. Alex Jackson got us Adam Duvall. Kasey Kalich got us Soler. None of them seemed to be super great prospects either. Things can happen fast. I think we’re about to see some moves.

Are we a lesser team without Ronald acuna Jr,. Yes we are. Am I wavng the proverbial White flag right now no I am not. We are still one of the better teams in baseball and I have all the confidence in the world in this team. We got Austin Riley back, we got Sean Murphy back. No I am not saying that double A is going to make a move before the trade deadline or even at the trade deadline but I'm sure he's looking at his options as we speak.

***Tyler, plz help me...... I'm a USAF Veteran, love my country like we all do, and our many freedoms, including Baseball., I could go on....my question is this.... WHY would our Braves mgmt NOT play the National Anthem......any day, but today of ALL days? It came as a surprise to most everyone. ( or is this normal here, I've never ever heard it not played) Can you plz find out anything at all or point me in the right direction to go from here. I do not know the chain of command or contacts. I'm just really hurt and angry. Thank you! Just last week I saw where a High School did the same thing but no one was having it, and everyone in the stands sang the entire anthem and the game wasn't able to start til thet finished. what's going on? We need to find out. Thx again! Liked and subscribed long ago.
@BravesOnDeck21 сағат бұрын
First off - thank you for your service. This is the first that I am hearing of the National Anthem not being played. I know in the 7th inning, Timothy Miller was supposed to sing America the Beautiful. And, I think that was the plan based on the broadcast. Maybe something happened and he was unable? Maybe it was miscommunication. I'm not sure. I certainly don't think the intention was to be disrespectful.

Tyler, I do think it's possible AA inquiries about Soler and Pederson. If he does which one do you think he might trade for? Soroka's pitching of late has been much better, I'm not ruling out a reunion.
@BravesOnDeck21 сағат бұрын
Inquiries are one thing, actually obtaining is another. The Giants would qualify for the postseason if the season ended today, rendering the Soler topic a moot point. But, with Pederson...who is a free agent at the end of the year... it's probably slightly more likely, because the D-Backs are two games back of the wildcard. That said - a lot can change before July 30th. I would be wildly surprised if either move happened. Out of the three, Eddie Rosario would be (by far) the easiest to obtain. But, would the Braves be interested? You have to find someone better than Duvall or Kelenic... otherwise it's not worth it. Rosario hasn't performed to a level that justifies it. Pederson and Soler are both on teams that are potential postseason contenders, making them hard to move.

I don't think he can be the same player anymore go all out every game or play international baseball. Your body changes do to injury. But I do think he can be a better hitter but stealing bases and playing baseball pretty much all year around does days are over.

What you forgot to mention…Great interview, fundamental part of the Big Red Machine’s depth. World Series champion. Plus, a middle infielder wasn’t typically expected to do much with the bat. He’s also a former field reporter. And… as his friend, I have to say I always enjoy having a conversation with him. He’s a terrific person who’s trying to make the world better through his charity. Not everything is about stats.

@@BravesOnDeck The one year he got a chance to start was with the Braves when they were terrible. He batted .252 that year with career highs in games played (153), runs scored (42), hits (125) doubles (20), triples (8) and RBI (50). He also had a whopping 37 errors. Backup catcher Bill Plummer was just as awful.

What a shame. Columbus is a $hithole and no matter what they do to Golden park, it's still gonna be in the ghetto side of town where no one wants to visit. Look at the murder stats in Columbus - is a minor league baseball game worth it? It's all explained by demographics.

That changeup is going to eat. It's going to dine on MLB hitters. And, yeah, put me into the camp of 'fake injury'. AA is saving him for later I think. If Strider hadn't gone down, it might be different, but here we are.
@richarddavis49284 күн бұрын
All these moves of bringing players up and sending them down makes no sense. I guess all teams do it, maybe. It looks to me they are using up their options, sometimes they stay up 2 days and never pitch.
@richarddavis49284 күн бұрын
Was he really injured? Or is it just a way to manipulate the system?
@BravesOnDeck4 күн бұрын
I doubt with his type of performance (and the Braves lack of starting pitching) that they would want him gone for two weeks. Most likely precautionary. But I understand the thought.
@richarddavis49284 күн бұрын
@@BravesOnDeck I don't know exactly how the options work. Maybe if someone goes on the injury list it doesn't count as an option. Then when he rehabs and comes back up, it isn't an option. They were going to need a starter for Friday and was going to have to call someone up.
@d.c.barker4 күн бұрын
The Braves pitching shutouts so far this season is remarkable considering some of the pitching that got traded away and the pitching they got in return in the offseason and Strider being out for the rest of this season...the Braves problem is just getting the offense going and being consistent...they're just out of sync and flat at times. Riley and Murphy coming back will also help a lot. AJ pitched awesome and we can only hope he can keep that up...the future looks bright for him and the Braves if he can.

When it comes from the braves roster my biggest worried is Acuña he's just struggling big time right now. Had a horrible Cubs series. I think Acuña right now is all metal. It's on he's head ! He's putting to much pressure on himself. I wonder does he have outside of the field issues, something going on with the fam. I don't know. But what ever is going on is definitely mental.
