So i didnt finish this series as a kid because Cartoon Network kept changing the timeslot, but i did like this one more than New Century because of the adventure and character growth. Thats not to say NC is bad, I very much enjoyed when i was younger, but this one always had a special place in my heart and knowing the Subs are out there somewhere in determined to find them now lol

The relationship between Nina and Gato was indirectly hinted at. While it's a twist that I still didn't enjoy, I like the route Stardust Memory took with the hint. In the episodes with Kou vs Kelley it seemed like Nina and Kelley already knew each other. I assumed they had a relationship in the past, but that assumption never came to fruition. However, after Kelley's death Gato gives some parting words that shows us that they were friends while Zeon was under the Zabi family. That was the indirect hint. Through the six degrees of separation we can see how the episodes with Kelley links Nina to Gato, and it's safe to assume they all had drinks together after committing war crimes or something. Again, a terrible way to hint towards the relationship, but I appreciate how it adds to the continuity

The movie version's intro of van while hitomi runs the track is better than the series. I feel lost ke.it.could do a revision and take out some of the more strange and bonkers elements (isaac newton) and clean up the second half and make it a little less bipolar with pacing.

Before i was born my dad decided to get me PS One so that once i was old enough, me and him would be able to play together. The PS2 has been out for a while and dad asked around when i was 2 if i wanted a PlayStation 2 since we loved our PS One so much. I told him ill think about then one day we went to my cousins apartment and he bought himself an Xbox and i saw the mechassault demo. Thats when i realized i needed the xbox. Me and my brother loved this game and for sure have more then 3k hours on it. I wish i could have had Xbox Live but more then 14 years later i was able top play on Xlink Kai and then recently played on Insignia. My favorite childhood game.

I saw some of this on TV before school as a kid and loved it, but my fondest Zoids memory was playing this tactical RPG on the Gameboy Advance. The plot was nutty because it threw together characters from several different Zoids series in a time-traveling, multiversal mishmash. But you got to build and customize your own Zoids which was the coolest shit. It apparently had multiple sequels that never got localized, but I found some fan translations so...

at the end, the way I see it, katejina had so much hatred for uso that she went blind. that is pretty epic. overall subpar show but the last 8-10 episodes was just as good as any gundam finale.

Think the one line that sticks with me the most (from the dub, anyway), is Nina's "Oh my God, what have I done?" followed immediately by "Oh my God, what have you done to my Gundam?". Also happens to be the moment before her character takes a nosedive, make of that what you will.

Inverted IS better. Y'all don't understand physics, imagine your thumb on his head moving like a joystick... In fact inverted controls come from Ace Combat and other flight games

As much as I applaud the female cast I feel the show was not quite as progressive as it was trying to be, and many of the lines seem a bit sexist in retrospect (if not on release), even beyond Reccoa's own characterization: "f a woman can rouse a man to activity by simply caressing him... ..then a woman will." "From the beginning, the world has had only two sexes. In that case, there must be a meaning for it, don't you think?" "You're right." "She may be a soldier, but Ensign Reccoa is a woman first and foremost!" (There are more.)

Feel like the Colony Drop actually succeeding is needlessly dour even for Gundam, doubly so when it is a sum result of all of the characters' stupid decisions. Even a near-miss would have been enough for the Titans to be formed. Also, the protagonist helping the Zeon pilot with the mobile armour he is going to use to try to kill him later, which he is all but aware of, is nearly equally inane as the engineer helping with said colony drop.

I think you misinterpreted the scene where "Audrey" is falling inside the colony and Banagher saves her. She was in the center "hub of the wheel" part of the colony at the beginning. That's a zero-G area, but she didn't have control of her momentum, so in order to regain control, she grabbed at a lever. Unfortunately for her, the lever was to some gas nozzle which pushed her toward the walls (ground) of the colony. Even so, she wasn't "falling" then any more than when she was going sideways through the hub. She stays at her current momentum. You only feel "gravity" in an O'Neal colony when you are in contact with a floor or the ground and are moving at the same rate as the walls of the colony. Otherwise, you're in zero-G. And far from being scared of "eternally falling," that would be the feeling "Audrey" was most used to. She's spent most of her life in space ships and space stations. Zero-G is also called "free fall" because that is the feeling you get in zero-G. I'm sure uncontrolled momentum gradually heading toward a moving wall would be scary though, but for "Audrey," it would have been the fear of the impact rather than the falling itself that was scary.

11:00 My personal head canon for how X-rounders can't seem to predict Asemu and Woolf was the origins on the former's abilities. It was explained that X-rounders was the opposite on the evolutionary scale of a newtype where the former uses the animalistic instinct part of the human brain used to have for survival. Just like how a predator like a cheetah, hunts and built into catching prey like a rabbit's path trajectory and jump distance, a cheetah is USED or biologically wired to having their prey runaway. If a rabbit suddenly starts hopping towards their general direction, it causes the cheetah to be confused and thinks there's something wrong and has to runaway, but since again, they're biologically wired to not runaway from prey, these opposing thoughts causes an information/nerve overload, just like how boxers can make a less experienced/disciplined boxer flinch from sudden movements. 16:46 Vagans have a stealth system, its one of the reasons why they were hard to track, defend and retaliate against them since their 1st attack 7 years prior the start.

In the dub, the terrible translators up in Vancouver didn't recognize the katakana-ized German words as German. Hence "Zeke" instead of "Sieg" and "Flyheight" (or however they mangled his last name) instead of "Freiheit." "Victory" and "Freedom," respectively. The subbed version is correct.
