TL;DR: Trying to print my own drawings but when extruding it somehow leaves the backing empty/hollow. Can anyone help? Hi! I seem to be having a problem when its in fusion. When I extrude the pieces I want, it somehow leaves the design hollow (which I don't want when its printed) can anyone help me solve this please? Ive spent hours trying to find a solution and cant seem to find any. I am trying to do my own drawings. I've tried somehow putting an offset but some parts are still 'empty' so it'll look odd printed. I hope this makes sense.

I just wanted to make some dice bags for the box of dice I bought, and now apparently I've got to learn to sew. (I knew it!) This was helpful from a beginner's design standpoint, and that's exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to understand. Thanks.

As a beginner, I had no idea where to start with 2d images for 3d printing. You explained it clearly, provided enough detail and really helped. Thank you! (i never comment on KZfaq usually so thought I better say my thanks)

You are awesome. I have been trying for two years to take a drawing I made, manipulate it by tracing it with vertices with parts in different heights, and then joining the parts to a single mesh to print but always fail . I think I can figure it out now.
