my favorite example of Bad ADR was from the TV-Version of the movie "Liar Liar"...towards the climax of the movie, Fletcher (Jim Carrey) is racing through the city to get to his son on time, which catches the attention of a police officer, and he hits the siren to pull Fletcher over...in the Original shot, Carrey simply exclaims "ssssssshhhhhhhhhh-SHIT!" (with an Obvious, Dragged-Out "shh" mouth-shape on camera)... ...in the TV-Version, they try to cram in the entire sentence of "man, i am such a SNOT!!" into that same "shh" mouth-shape...when they couldve gone with a much-more believable "sssshhhh-SHOOT!" or something instead...
