Excellent. Not only a Pentagram, but a Pentagon, but if you flip the paper 180⁰ and repeat, then you have a Decagon and that is a very powerful polygon. As a Geometer, I think is a very good method. Thank you 👍

The Pentagram also has several Golden Ratios. This ratio is seen throughout nature. Two lines are in the golden ratio if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two lines.

I would LOVE for someone to be able to explain why this series of steps results in 72° increments around the circumference of the original circle. And for my second wish, I’d like to know who first deduced these steps & how long ago it was figured out. And lastly, I’d like to thank the manipulator for sharing the steps.

The star intersects the circle at 5 points equidistant from each other, thus splitting the circle into 5 arcs. 1 circle is 360°, so each arc needs to be 360/5=72° to perfectly cover a full circle

Draw a circle, measure an angle of 72 degrees to divide the circle into 5 parts. Connect each pair of alternating points in turn to create a 5-pointed star. Try it, it's faster than you're doing.

This is actually a skill created specifically for use without a protractor or any device for measuring degrees. Eyeballing degrees can introduce a certain level of inconsistency that performing constructions with a good compass and straight edge don't. That's why this is more complex; there is no measuring of angles here whatsoever. On top of that, it's more of a mathematical and geometrical challenge to come up with constructions for certain shapes than to just measure out the angles.

Se hace un círculo se divide 360 entre 5 da como resultado 72 grados y cada 72 grados se pone un punto y ahy salen las puntas del pentagrama más cencillo

Sorry honey, but it was used thousands of years before your god, and it represented five elements in almost every culture worldwide, even with nations that never met, as an example, japan uses it for five elements, all the european pagan nations (balts, slavs, germans, greeks, celts…) yeah, and the mayans have used it as a calendar AND as a representation of the five elements.
