ABEC has to so with tolerances and precision of the bearings higher abec rating higher speeds it can handle. As far as skating goes it makes 0 difference. Buy a good quality bearing and ignore the rating

After I do the top loop like you did at the 2:45 I wrap the remaining lace around my ankle above the top loop and double knot it. To me it feels like the top two lace holes are as tight as they can be and lock my heel in place. Good video though.

I used to have abec 5’s without knowing it with my first pair of rollerblades but then I unknowingly switched to abec 3’s and somehow never gets lower than 3rd place. But now I’m going to hockey skates (abec 9)

My ankles get ripped apart, i wear 2 socks and a gel protective pad and still hurts, skate fits good aswell

They would have gone so much faster with these tips. Bend your knees when ur going fast so you have longer strides. Next, learn cross overs, they will help you gain speed while turning. And that's what they could have done to go faster, your welcome
