Country / Nashville Bob. Some of his best songs get airplay on country radio. Nashville Skyline is a fine album.

One of the major contenders for greatest song of all time. Not greatest song of a given genre, just greatest song in general, ever, worldwide. Nobody who studies music would dispute it's a major candidate.

Maybe the single most influential rock song of the 20th century, certainly in the top 5 or 10. Almost a stand alone brand unto itself for Dylan's artistry and greatness. I think when he marries the guitar with the organ and the harmonica it is very special.

That's an early cut. Classic Elvis. Listen to it live! Feel it! Two of my favorites, Little Less Conversation (remix) and Bossa Nova.

The song that crystallized a social and cultural movement, though Bob was somewhat reluctant to embrace the role. Always an artist first.

This song is truly breathtaking in its raw honesty and expression of intense emotional pain. And your reaction, Cindy, was beautiful in how you allowed us to feel your heartbreak 💔 in your reaction to the tragic life experiences that Lennon relived through the writing and incredibly powerful performance of this brilliant song.

I never get tired of listening to Bob Dylan. This song has Emmylou Harris singing with him. I am glad you are enjoying Bob Dylan songs. There is always at least one line that will stay with you in most of his songs. Take care CimdyStyle. ☮

Imagine managing to pack all that into a two-minute song. And they were all barely out of their teenage years (the oldest was just 22 when they recorded the song)

"... the state of our society as it is today..." Quite right. Me, I have this - word by word - going round and round inside my head now sixty years. And it has been the state of our god blessed society all them years through. Nothing essential has really changed. By the way : To me, it is more a poem than a song, a poem with a guitar behind it, driving you mercyless through this maze of absurdities like a demon with a fiery whip... Truly very heavy stuff. RIP, RAZ !

my boys, my boys!!!! let's make a vulgar song but avoid vulgarity, make it so only "adults" understand but youngsters will sing along too. let's go right to the edge of censorship, but not get censored. let's rock and roll. legends they are/were/and will forever be.

Could be my favorite Dylan song of all time. It's certainly on my all time favorite Dylan album, it is just choosing between this, tangled up in blue, and if you see her say hello. The poetry on this song, and on the album, it is really quite stunning. And people forget that Dylan could get that acoustic guitar to do special things. Your journey with dylan really inspires me. You light up the world with your harmonica smile. I appreciate you.
