WOW. Just got this recommended. (Probably because of some controversy with the DLC) I love Elden Ring as a whole but GOD some of these bosses do not feel good to fight against. It really does not feel like we are in the same game with some of these bosses and it is even worse with the DLC bosses. I do not understand why saying "I beat the boss, but did not have fun doing it" is a wrong opinion to have according to the die hard defenders. It seems like they think that beating the boss equals having fun.

I rage quit on the gargoyles and honestly I'm just done for a while. Elden ring is my first game from the souls Franchise and I need a break.. I'm used to frustration. I'm old. Like I was 19 when the OG Xbox came out and legendary HALO kicked my ass but I did it. With that being said I gotta say that boss fights in Elden ring are ridiculously difficult. Keep in mind I am a noob when it comes to souls games. So go on and talk your shit.

being honest if everyone shames another for using summons it's just some loser stuff fr. let people play how they want. it annoys the hell outta me when people shun and degrade others for using summons. that's my main problem with the community in general. I used summons as a crutch my first every play and I still use them because it's fun. over all just let people play how they want it's a game. if someone wants to gate keep let them just isolate themselves and even with summons most bosses are still a heavy challenge

I agree with practically every point in this video as it is very well put together and I actually share the same level of contempt for the reuse of seemingly random bosses and jamming them in the same fight. However, the bosses are designed to fight “one player each” which was done for the sole intent of accommodating for the spirit summons and multiplayer. While yes, if you were to play Elden Ring like it were Dark Souls 2 it’d be a shitty experience with the duo bosses, they improve in terms of fun when you have someone there to account for the other overtly aggressive boss. Even still though, the duo bosses can be tedious and random at times, feeling less like a fun challenge and more like a chore. 8/10 video 👍🏾

i remember getting shitted on by people who played all of the souls games by fromSoftware as if i didn't know what true difficulty was while i've completed games like Touhou or other more specific stuff like Super Mario World romhacks (Kaizo Mario) or even games like Terraria. Discarding the latter, all of them released before Demons Souls. As a side note all of these guys had in common the same "sigma man grindset gymrat" line of thinking. Society.

I think the problem with pokemon games isn't them, its us. for example take pokemon sun and moon, a game where you adventure through 4 islands, fight the god pokemon, use super powerful z powers and fight alien pokemons from a different dimension. and thats what the community calls a bad game. 3d models are harder to make than 2d sprites and everyone complains about how "the old games were better" dude, the old games were pixelated and colorless. i think the problem is with us, pokemon fans that we can't see the things that matter. the new pokemon games like sword and shield/ scarlet and violet has such a great storyline if you think about it. you know the issue is that pokemon are for children. i remember my first time playing sun and moon but everytime i go to play it again i find myself sad because i can't experience the same joy i had with it as a kid. people change when they get older, just as their perspectives on the world. as a kid, you see the world a good place with friends but when you grow up, it becomes worse. pokemon games are so much better now, but people don't see it because they grown up and don't enjoy the games as much as they were kids. i've been playing pokemon for 8 years already, and im experiencing the same issues, but if you look at the game you see that its still good. People change... its a part of growing up :)

I will never pay for a game that will not give you the full game for the base price. There is a trend now of companies sell games for full price, but locking you out of the main storyline's end game. To get access to the final 1/3 of the storyline you have to pay another $20. I understand DLC (additional content), but I dont understand locking you out of the main storyline.

Im gonna be honest, most of what you criticized in this video is stuff that I personally really enjoy. Delayed attacks, dynamic combos, etc make the game more dynamic overall for me, and make the bosses more challenging and fun to learn. There are some cases where its slightly overdone in my opinion, specifically with Morgott, but for the most part I think all this stuff adds to the game

Bro is going full company shill mode for a billion dollar company harder than most. They said they were removing the National dex for "Higher quality animations". Yet they reuse animations, and models from the last gen. Every game since X and Y is a hand holding slog that has everything handed to you. With people pointing out where to go every two steps. I mean Sun and Moon had a damn map with a flag always on screen. The Champion in Scarlet and Violet is widely considered the worst. right up there with Diantha. Plus the fact that there are so many better Fan games that are made in the developers spare time, that outshine the quality of mainline games with million dollar budgets is inexcusable.

I love learning and mastering the attack patters of bosses in games like Sekiro, Bloodborne or Lies of P because they are hard but they still feel fair. On the other hand, I don't get that feeling with most of Elden Ring bosses. I think most of ER bosses are just BS, and I don't find their attacks interesting or appealing to learn. It's not a "dance" when you need to time 10 dodges in a row just to get a window to attack with a single R1; or when all of the bosse's attacks are aoes that cover the entire arena. This DLC even takes that BS to a whole new level. I just stop caring anymore in ER, and started defeating them anyway I can, with summons, magic, whatever, I don't care. I don't feel like these bosses are worth the time and effort of learning how to properly fight them. While in Lies of P for example, I beat the whole game refusing to summon even when I got my ass kicked over and over. It's not about difficulty, it's about having a sense of fairness.
