One of the main and many differences between Western Animation and Eastern Anime is the fact that Western Animation is for babies and kids, and Eastern Anime is for Adults. One more thing, you should check out Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell.

I have seen a few original Outer Limits episodes, but like you I'm more familiar with the 90s version. As for this one, I thought it was a little slow, but not bad for a first outing.

I'm quite fond of this episode. My brother gave me the complete Outer Limits DVDs, he was a great gift giver, and I rated them all. I'll have to check, but I think I gave it a B/B+. The first season was produced by Joseph Stefano who wrote the screenplay for Psycho and he wanted a series that delved into scientific possibilities in a true sci-fi way rather than The Twilight Zone's twisted or surprising reveal structure so I respect it as exploratory. What do you think?

When u do the math the family is a parallel and DECEASED version of the out-of towners from Beetlejuice, the Dietz fam with Uncle OTHO summoning creatures (rabbit) as young Betelgeuse tries desperately to use them as bait for yet another delicious soul from THE ROAD. Clearly with young daughter LYDIA surviving to return in Beetlejuice sequel, she MIRRORS the early exit of young ETHEL who actually vanished into 3 decades of Bart Simpson (Nancy Cartright). So...that means Kathleen Quinnlan is the young mentor to Anthony and will later run the Ghostly Service dept as a deceased chain-smoker who'd died from a slit throat. (Jeuno) More violent punishment than vanished mouth on girl upstairs. Yes Anthony later specialized in Exorcising the Living which he'd earlier done by trapping Victims at home while he becomes trapped and requires a spell to grant his mobility each time. Genie leaving bottle with 3 calls. Also, Juno likely refrained from the unbearable Juice sex harassment. He deemed her a tease like some arrogant Prince and earned Juno's assessment of "He does NOT work well with others

The underwater stuff was very new and innovative at the time. And the underwater spear gun battle, filmed by Ricou Browning (who played the Creature from the Black Lagoon), was considered groundbreaking - and brutal. Audiences loved it, actually. It made more money than any other Bond movie until "Skyfall". Because it pressed the boundaries of underwater photography, it wasn't considered boring at at all. You two guys, on the other hand, are boring idiots!

The reason they only put their silencers on right before they are going to fire, is because the silencer adds about 6 inches to the gun. So you can't keep it in your holster when the silencer is on.

You asked where that boat is now. The back part was kept at a marine scrapyard for years. The hydrofoil part was last known to be owned by Michael Jackson.
