You should react to more Unnatural History videos

I didn’t realize this until returning to World very recently, but the Coral Highlands’ theme is exceptionally underrated. It has just the right amount of whimsy to fit a majestic coral reef up in the mountains, while still maintaining the right level of danger to sound appropriate for a tense battle.

Holy crap...every single one of these songs, burned into my brain, they didnt just fit the themes to the environments, but they kept it in tone with the speed and rhythm of the game as a whole, the monsters were much faster in this game than in previous titles, mostly because Generations was made at the same time as World and they were pushing the framerate a bit more on the switch. It definitely helps to be actually fighting monsters while listening to this music, it blends so damn well, it all feels in tune with everything you are doing while fighting, and dont forget, that pretty much all of the music has calm bits when you first start an encounter to get you amped, then more intense bits for when a monster enrages, but between those bits, there are interconnecting loops to prep for when a monster phases.

I hate most of worlds maps theme the only ones I really like being the rotten vale and hoarfrost reach

The Everwoods are probably my favorite "location" aestethically. The cave area is made of amethyst. The desert area is full of ruins (even for this map's standards) which are covered in dry branches, and the sand looks smoother and fluffier than usual. Everything is enveloped under an endless sea of trees which makes you feel like you're trapped inside an infinite maze.

Other people have already said how Gammoth's theme is actually quite fitting for the massive snowy wall that she is. But I wanted to add that I could totally see the Mongolian throat singing working for some kind of hypothetical Gammoth subspecies. I imagine something like Gammoth that have been driven out of their usual icy homelands due to maybe some kind of temperature increase and have adapted by dropping their ice element to focus purely on raw strength. Now more desperate to survive, they are more savage in their attacks, using their enormous weight to crush all underfoot - kind of like a Gammoth that fights like a Tigrex.

Quick tip, whenever there is a counter signal active, that should be a sign to get off the mounted weapons and get face to face with the monsters, you deal like 10x more damage when the counter signal is active you can even hit 3-4 digits of a damage number this early on in a game during a counter signal.

Seregios is such a good concept, Reverse Scale? That's the first i've ever heard one!

Good and Fun weapon! Most of them have Bad Design tho... But other weapon have similiar problem in World so it's not that bad of a problem now is it...

My first weapon because i just want to button mash at the time, but then i branched out and play every weapon type in the game and now i main Lance and Gunlance! Mostly because i roleplay and made my main character to take a liking to Lances...

So just like in main line game is about Coexistence with Monsters, Stories (a spin off of sorts) is that but cranked up to it's limit, not only you Hunt Monsters but you're also make Bonds with THEM! Stories is my first MH games that i play and since the message of the game resonate with me as i am an Animal Enthusiast, i LOVE it with all my Heart and Blood!

Yeah, the story is what makes it so bad, they have an elder dragon that only appear at the end and only for about 10 second... And not make it the main antagonist! My time was wasted on it...

Duramboros is in a sad place, he's the only brute wyvern, excluding subspecies/variations on monsters that never appeared in 5th gen at all. qurupeco has to happen, imagine all the new calls he could get and him insighting turf wars for fun or to deal with a monster by knowing they have a turf war with something nearby so he insights it to escape. zamtrios ain't not leviathan, he's a frog like tetranadon and the new chatacabra. It was so sad to see zamites in Rise without him. When we see an ice map, i will be praying to Gog above for his return. all they have to do to add him is give him a zone or 2 of water that's frozen over, for his sharky shenanigans. Imagine pack turf wars with him and zamites attaching and flopping on other large monsters, like they do on the hunter. Nibblesnarf is awesome quirky fun. he's a great addition t oany sandy map. We do already have the balahara though so... Maybe not, worst case scenario, he should be in the next portable game. Macao is pretty grerat, maybe they can give its AI a makeover so the pack behaves in more unique ways, like the izuchi. For years I've wanted as many pack monsters as possible to have their own unique AI, fighting style, and hunting strategies. Gammoth simply has to happen, she's the only member of the fated 4 and one of the few flagships left out of the 5th generation. In the 20th anniversary interviews they said zone size was the issue with her but Wilds' zones look massive so that shouldn't be a problem. What? Elderfrost wasn't introduced in Stories 2, it was the deviant from Generations. Boss monsters can happen, they can easily add boss arena maps. Dalamadur may have to get in line but it's possible. Lagi has to happen, he's another of the flagships that didn't come back in 5th gen. They wanted to in World but couldn't. It's been long enough and it's a new engine so... And balahara looks like his skeleton, rather than the mizu or almodron variation of it. This game has so much already, swimming is not happening. Maybe in MH7. I can't wait for that someday but it won't be in Wilds. A devaint, not the base monster? why? He's also one of the worst deviants, just taking a fire monster and giving it blast. Him and elderfrost really suck compared to most of them. Najarala has to happen, why else would there be snakes in the logo if not to foreshadow that this game is ending the hiatus of snake wyverns. Again, he's not a leviathan. They have to have fixed the issues by now, again balahara exists so the odds are good. I'm still holding out hope for new snakes, maybe even a snake wyvern flagship to really sell the idea that this hurdle has truly been cleared. Um zamtrios and gammoth don't fit this biome at all either. For a final boss, in master rank, we should get gogmazios next. It would be so boring to just get one of the other 2 fatalis. That rework made it from shit to a fantastic fight but rehashing him for one of those other 2 would still suck. Fatalis has 2 variants.

The 4th gen are indeed one of the best gen trailers that came, i love them so much!

Gammoth, Zamtrios, Tetsucabra and Qurupeco are the ones i really want to see back! they have so much personality and are so fun! About monsters in wilkds: in japanse interviews the devs have said that they have adapted old monsters to have pack behavior! so i'm super curious about that, This makes me think that Seregios will be in the game.

I'd love to see the return of magma tigrex. He's like an engine starting really slow and ramping up through the fight.

Any deviants would be amazing. My favorite is easily Boltreaver Astalos. Also, considering Wilds' main area is in a desert, I would appreciate to see one of the Mohran trio again. Including the siege by ship mechanic. Anyways, solid choices. Glad theres nothing from 5th generation, since there are so many monsters more deserving a return than those rather recent ones.

My #1 hope is for Gammoth’s return. We know they tried to get her into one of the fifth Gen games, probably Iceborne, but it didn’t work because she was just too big. With the new herding mechanics for the small herbivores and stronger systems I feel like Gammoth might finally get the love she deserves. Her armour is also pretty cool in master rank.

A new black dragon is long overdue! Imagine this: A monster that looks not too threatening. You found it in a secluded part of the forbidden lands. Suddenly it lets out a scream! The earth rumbles, the seas rip apart and the skies roar! Hordes of monsters charge towards you. This weird new monster called in an army of large monsters to fight by its side! As the battle progresses and you try to just survive this onslaught of fangs and claws you notice that damaging its head made some of the monsters flee or even fight the other monsters! You focus the head with your new focus mode and suddenly: it breaks! All the monsters scatter leaving you in a one on one against this creature. The fight goes on and after a while it starts to summon other monsters again! But with its head broken they are not as numerous. After a long and exhausting fight the beast falls! It’s classification being determined black dragon. With the power to completely overthrow the ecosystem and make the fauna obey its own rules!

You could infuse the Dryleaf arts with magic or frost to scale it to your stats.

And if you are looking for spells a structure on the east side may help you it looks like a chapel.

Explore my friend there's 4 different ways to go just outside the castle Ensis a cave, the tower you went to another cave and the dragon area. Not to mention the loot. You missed a great katana, backhand blades, the first goal boss and spirit/scadutree blessings. Keep an eye out for shadow guys with a pot above their head. There are legit three to five regions you could go too before the black keep so don't miss out.
