One sexy bird worthy of all the "salutes" and accolades. Amazing how a good Company can go out of business after building such a quality plane. Proof that we live in a disposable world. Use it once, break it and throw it away. Love their paint job and waiting for the beautiful maiden. Salute to all zee brothers. Russ NC/USA

I don’t know much about this aircraft but I wonder how it would compete against the Storch.I’m willing to bet that the Storch VSTOL would be able to make shorter take offs and Landings than this aircraft as the Storch has leading edge slats.

G’day, also from Perth, WA. I see there are a few still available for around US$330 and about the same in Euros, but the freight would kill it. I’d like to buy one, just not that much. It’ll be on the high side of $600 landed in Aus. That’s not to say I won’t be thinking about it! 🤔👍🏻😁

Some lovely solid features on this Dornier. The wooden prop and 6mm u/c legs are impressive, but I do agree with Pilot Robert that it's a pain to have to turn the bird over to access the battery, and it's v strange to have that crappy glue seam there, with everything else being so beautiful. A very impressive looking plane nonetheless. Really looking forward to the maiden! Big salute as ever from London. 🌟👍

For a 10 year old kit that is incredible. Taft was clearly forward thinking and many manufacturers have clearly stood on their shoulders in the construction and solution side. It even stands up well compared to today. I look forward to seeing this on the runway 😉👌

Usually the orange tips on planes was a designation for trainee aircraft. Even in ww2 Japan, they used orange tips on wings and tails to designated trainer aircraft.
