Woodpeckers are my favorite!!

Woodpeckers are the caretakers of the trees. You should attract them to your trees so they will keep the trees free of insect diseases. If they are drumming on a house or barn, it may mean it may have insects on it that thankfully, the woodpecker is removing. Also, by keeping some dead trees, the woodpeckers will drum on them, looking for wood-boring insects, and perhaps not on your house.

DIY repurposed Bluebird feeder. So easy and you probably already have what you need. I use a "tomato box" or berry box that you get when you buy them at the store. I fill with about 1/2 cup of dried mealworms and attach to a pole, plant hanger, another feeder or what ever you have. I use zip ties or long twist ties and position it so that gravity moves them down as the birds eat. The little holes in the container allow the birds to pick them out. The snap lid on top keeps them mostly dry... even in driving rain and I replace it for free when it starts to look dirty. Although not necessary, I fed a twig through the holes so they have a perch. I've been doing this successfully for more than 5 years

My Aunt Doesn’t wanna feed birds.

I have the little square pole mount feeder, but live mealworms escape. Plus... I can’t get my blues to go to the mealworms no matter what, and they fly right past the feeder... which is clear. We are in for a long, rainy stretch for several day, and they have 4 3 day old nestlings to feed. I’m not sure how they are going to do it if they won’t eat the mealworms.

I so badly want my Bluebirds back but with no avail. Location is Big Bear Lake, in San Bernardino mountains of So. CA. Any help appreciated.

I bought the new winter blend, and within 24 hours had 4 bluebirds. I was in shock! I've seen them consistently for 7 days. Thank you for making this new product available - I'll definitely be adding it to my winter feeding supplies!

I think I found the same exact species this morning. I was playing some good Neptunia and I heard a thump on the window. Gone outside and found the bird in one of the buckets full of water laying outside.

Just picked up this feeder. Hands down the best! With the liquid on the bottom instead of top and gravity fed it doesn’t leak cause its never under pressure. Stop wasting money on others styles. One and done! Lifetime warranty!

I found one which is the reason I’m hear and all I did was softly snapped the wing back in place and and let it cool down on an cool water bag and released it

American gold finches will not share my feeder at the same time with other finches except for their mates.? On all the online footage I see, the finches all gather at the finch feeders together with no issues. Why are all my finches fighting at my feeder when there are plenty of food and perches for all? Any advice. I have never seen this in all the online footage of them at feeders including yours.
