Followed the guide, worked like a charm. I used the Windows Server 2019 boot wim and I was able to bypass the deprecation screen successfully.

I would say in the future don't use whiteboard, instead use Power Point. Actually does well for the type of setting your attempting to use it in.

I will try to be neater in the future. It is a challenge as I explain and draw at the same time to try and keep a natural flow that engages an audience when explaining topics. I was unaware that people are attempting static screenshots and I understand then my writing could be challenging on some of my diagrams

@@mwcloud well I mean you can use AI to watch the video, and assist with creating a manual. Or alternatively, include a word/pdf/PowerPoint in the description which also allows you to keep your current workflow and addresses the cases of people wanting documentation. I tend to rewatch videos until I know the steps by second nature, and read supporting docs.

This works perfectly, however I am also interested in creating a completely unattended install where it will pass everything and completely install the OS and stop at the login screen, so that when the device is then handed to a user they just need to input login details they are good to go, is this possible and can this be achieved within WDS ? I see there is a section for adding unattended files but in terms of the values I would need to include in the XML I have no idea what I would need to include. Thanks for any tips in advance.

Possible yes, but, if you have any number of machines you want to use SCCM and MDT to get that done. It is called a “zero touch” install if you want to google it and start looking through the MS documentation. It can be quite complex and uses “task sequences” to get the job done. Start simple with them when you are testing and then increase complexity as you go and deploy many times to a text machine or VM until you get it right. There is not one right way of doing that depending on the config you need for your environment

The VPN endpoints are also routing traffic as routers so they need to know the ranges on the other side of the tunnel

I am not too sure, and when money is on the line with licences always go with what your Microsoft Licence provider tells you, as that way there is recourse should it not be correct in an audit. Do not just go off what you read online if there is any ambiguity

@@mwcloud What I did was a function, using childitem to get files, extension and size and after that I create a for ech to totalize by file extension, sorry for not have access to the code but I am from my mobile. My point is if this can be done easier, I want to receive a folder path and be able to return total size by file extension. I was trying measure without good luck. @@mwcloud yes, it works fine for count number of files by each extension, but we want total sum of file size, somethink like: Extension Total Size TMP 3GB xlm 0.5GB doc 2GB and we did it suing foreach, my pont was if measure can count, how to use measure-object for sum total sizes.

can the entire drivers/crowdstrike folder be deleted? Crowdstrike was installed on a laptop that was briefly used in a corporate setting. But now the laptop is home use only. Crowdstrike cannot be uninstalled. Will removing the folder prevent it from running?

Seems great however domain and local admin are unable to delete this file. Seems to be happening on random devices. Havent seen anyone else able to solve yet. Admin persmissions are required, and you can see in permissions there is more than enough clearance to delete the file, but something is stopping it.

Press F8 when booting. Go into troubleshoot. Advanced options. Command prompt. And delete C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike, delete file C-00000291*.sys Restart

@@GonzalezJio Nope unfortunately. 1. F8 does not work 2. Every method possible to get into safe mode has been attempted and the computers will blue screen, forget about safe mode, boot, fail, repeat. On top of “not having permission” to delete the driver files, despite trying local admin, and domain admin. Absolute nightmare on top of the fact we have BitLocker on every computer.
