I would never have kids with someone simply to have kids. I'd only agree to children if I were to find someone who loved me back as much as I loved before and after marriage and a home. If that's not in my cards than it simply isn't. I refuse to bring children into this world and not provide them with the love between to parents and decent start for opportunities in their life. I feel that it's selfish to do it any other way. All I hear when people say "when you get older and you have no children, what then?" is they just want someone around that feels obligated to take care of them in a world that is crumbling around them anyway as it is.
