I just found your channel because of my similar love for HST. I also made a video about him on my channel 😁. Keep up the great work. Now it's just time to watch the rest of your catalog

Did you miss the Billy Jack connection on Cliff's denim? Not sure about fashion forward, as much as movie leftovers.
@eblong767 күн бұрын
I think you also missed the importance of the Champion auto parts t-shirt. These types of tshirts were popular with gear heads at the time, because they were free advertising. I figured the Hawaiian shirt was from Cliff's days of serving during WW2. Again, not trendy, just stuff he would have had

after years of confusion i've never felt such clarity about my style as after watching this video (plus the alien & twister ones). our taste must be pretty identical so i'm totally loving this direction, pls keep making videos. or maybe just share more movie recs in a similar vein (i'll even forgive the ripley slander)

The M65 got a stand-up collar to give access to the hood in it.. and as said, the sleeve’s cover extension are made to fix on (wool) gloves. Rambo 1 : Stallone wears one until the cops put him naked..M51 is also worn on some episodes by Starsky (from Starsky & Hutch) 👍🏼 nice collection but throw away the rothco 🤣 and try to catch an issued (stamps on the low inner front pressure tabs)
@Daniel_Verhey15 күн бұрын
Lol I use to have a couple other m-65’s but the zippers were broken so I had to get rid of them. I know, I need to get a new one though. I do like the sage color of the rothco though! But I hear you 😂

Been following for awhile and all your videos are great. Not sure if you've ever seen or heard of the film "Hackers" but it's one of my favs (especially for the costume design) and the designer used a bunch of military gear in interesting ways. The costume designer actually held onto a lot of the clothes and did this really cool exhibit a few years ago: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Zq6HmZRk3Kqug4k.html

Thank you! I’ve been meaning to watch/eventually do a video on hackers for a while now. That’s so cool that he held on to a bunch of stuff and did an exhibit. I’m gonna have to watch the video 👍🏼 thank you for linking it
