Are you measuring the temperature of the fish or the water with the laser thermometer? Because you can’t get an accurate reading of the water temp with a laser thermometer.

We are measuring water temp, and you absolutely can. This has been tested many times in our fish room, comparing it to submerged digital and "mercury" thermometers. There's a less than 1 degree difference between any readings I have taken, from both.

The longer they stay in their natural habitats where they are endangered they will eventually go extinct so yes you got catch them from the wild and keep them in enclosures that mimics their natural habitat.

i am an experianced betta breeder that breeds over4 years but i have a pair they breeded already 1 time a few months aggo but now they just dont breed aggan they are toghether over 72 hours i cleaned the tank changed water they ated the female has eggs in her stomach the man buld a really big bubble nest but the female is just not intessted

the tank turned out so pretty <3!!! i was wondering what kind of filter that was? the current doesn’t seem strong at all but it definitely does its job, definitely a good one!!!

Yes! This is a Mighty HOB filter in size small. I carry them in our local shop. They are super affordable, high quality, and the flow adjustment works really well. I've used cheaper ones from Amazon similar to this and they never preformed as nice. I like that it also comes with the pre-filter sponge if you keep shrimp 🦐

A huge reason many of these species aren't totally extinct is the fishkeeping hobby. This breeder in particular does conservation work in Thailand, and has done head-starting on different habitats. Is we don't care about these species, they will cease to exist. And just caring about biodiversity isn't enough. My higher education is in biology, and I've taken various biodiversity and ecology courses over the years. This really is important

random question but, would you recommend putting the parent fish in a salt bath for a short period of time after breeding if they have fin rips? Or just let them heal naturally. Thanks!

do the brine shrimp come frozen to you like that? if they do where do you order them from…if you dont mind me asking :), and if they dont come frozen why do you freeze them just very curious

Yes it's a frozen feed. It must stay frozen. I don't recommend ordering online unless you need a lot, shipping frozen items isn't cheap. I would check your local fish stores, most will stock frozen foods. PetSmart also carries the omega one brand which I like too

Anyone who buys these please label if you mix bloodlines with domestic. Really makes the conservation of the true species harder for those who breed them. If you mix species label as such and sell as such.

I went to your website and saw mystery box sale, when you have a sorority sale and they all live in the same tank is there a benefit to doing that? I mean not only having a companion buy if your breeding them as well???
