Very nice 👍 I would love to find one just like it ! These 71 Chrysler 300’s and the 1970 Plymouth Fury Sport GT’s appeal to me as much as any of the Chargers , Challengers , Road Runners or Cudas . The body lines are so sleek and sexy 😍 I just love these big ol boats !

@@evanbarr9270 I agree , cars like this need a 60 or higher sidewall , a 70 or 75 . Factory had a G or H 78 at least , possibly some had optional L 78

Killer ride , keeping the Mopar love alive ! It's ur car and you've made it your own ! Look great , tail pipes cackle too much ? Could go 2 or 2 and a half inch and it should mellow down some . I've had a couple green pars and miss them , 30 yrs ago !

I have a 70 Chrysler Newport Custom with 383 2 bbl and she gets about 10-12 in the city and 16-18 on the highway. I can buy a lot of gas too for the price of a payment that I do not have. Car is in very good shape, easy to repair, and cruising great. We have had her since 1973. Take care!

Why is it that everyone on the YT MOPAR posts Never has anything but an old sounding engine or an exhaust system which is SO bad sounding that it makes the engine sound 300,000 miles old!! Why not have exhausts with really cool mello till it roars pipes!!

This year model Chrysler 300 with a 440 was my first car. 8 MPG if you drove with some restraint. You could just about watch the fuel gauge falling if you drove with a heavy foot. Slow off the line but once she got moving...wow.

If you want milage and MORE power, put in an injector system ($$$) or a triple carb system where the center carb is something like a Holley Econimizer and the two end carbs are big monsters with mechanical pumps. Problem solved......
@robertbowles51562 жыл бұрын
Imagine you drove taxi in the late 70s with one, buck a gallon gas seemed cheap but it wasn't
@brianr56652 жыл бұрын
A dollar a gallon in those days was crazy. Who had money to spend like that? Cars were under $4000... That makes the avg car about $47k today. Um... Wait... MSRP is $35k and they are charging $54k as a limited edition. This entire comparable chart is out the fkn window. 🤣
