Overall an okay album. Had alot of bad moments but some great ones too. I think if it was only the greats released as an ep, it'd be thier best project and well remembered. The production is great, the vocals have some how gotten better, but frequently not doing anything with these elements just leaves the album dull with a few good moments here and there. The GOOD songs have a great blend of sounds that build off of the things they've already established. It's hard to like this album. The good songs are great. The bad songs I hate. Great review btw!

Talked to david in a bar and he said he didnt see the point of having two vocalist and that it was his project originally anyway so he made the choice to kick em out.

You should check out the concert they did for the eclipse. It is their kickoff show for the new tour. It starts off with Ice Cream Piano, Ezra is a bit off tempo but the gel after a while. It is their most pretentious album so far, the arpeggios are predictable and sometimes its overproduced, it wants to be more than it is plus the melodies are not that strong but i see that many people loooove this album.

Why is there no mention of Ariel who produced this, FOTB, and modern vampires.

FOTB was an absolute gem of an album.

Great video! While growing up in my middle school and early high school days, I used to love Breathe Carolina. They were my favorite band for a while. I was first introduced to them through the song “Blackout” and then went down the rabbit hole of discovering musicians such as Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, Mayday Parade, and a lot of other Warped Tour musicians. I love how they blended electronic music with pop, rock, and screamo. Very interesting band for sure.

This band was so cheesy 😂 but it shocks me how big they became, i remember when they were first starting out.

Wow I've been looking for a video like this lately since Apple music recently recommended BC again to me in a 2000s playlist. It's been over a decade since I listened to these guys at all, so was really curious to see where they ended up. I actually really liked Its Classy Not Classic and I consider it their best work and the only thing I relisten to today. Even if it's unpolished, it has charm. Not stuff I would listen to around other people today though lol. The next two albums after their debut were still good but I increasingly lost interest and moved on in 2011 for proper club Techno and more mature electronic music. I checked out some of their new stuff on Apple music and was shocked at their shift to EDM/hyperpop with releases on Spinnin Records. Not bad at all, but it's akin to easy listening shopping mall music. I was surprised that they're still operating under the same name.

Great video, I still listen to them to this day. Met them at Warped Tour back when I was 15 or 16 and they were really cool, talked for a bit and gave me a bunch of free stuff.
