I replaced the buttons with a 5 cm velcro strip and it works just fine:)) I think it is truly generous of you for sharing your knowledge with us without asking for anything back, so thanks again!!!

Hello! Love this pattern. I’m fairly new to sewing and I’m having trouble understanding the top pattern. For the Kimono, the measurements of the front and back pieces, the 12 and 5 mark confuses me. Shouldn’t the width of rectangles be equal as the length is? I know this is an intermediate project but I’d like to push myself.
