@@johnp2909 oh!! Yes, I didn’t capture that on film. I’m glad you asked. Please allow me a chance to review how I did it and I will reply back to you. You need to go to Bluetooth settings on your tesla main screen and select the unit. But first you need to “turn on” Bluetooth broadcast ability. I believe it’s in the Bluetooth settings that you find by swiping down from the TOP of the rear screen display. If you email me at [email protected] I will be happy to reply back to you on there to help get it working.

A little tricky because .5.1 never had cars ahead of it at the stop sign which seemed to trip up .3 similarly you're supposed to yield to cars across and none of the cross traffic drivers forfeited their right of way like multiple .3 drivers.

Will probably have to WiFi Tether to use Internet data services. Wonder if you can lockout the heated seat control and/or the passenger seat control. At the very least I would want unit to only be passenger seat control to be available if no one is seated in it.

I'm sorry, but 2 iPads solve this issue. Each kid can watch what they want they don't need to hunch over. Maybe if the screen was $100 or less it's worth it. iPad are also portable not gluded down to a car.
@techgeektesla
@techgeektesla 6 күн бұрын
@@JifferRiffic It’s not for everyone, certainly. I like it, personally, from a selfish standpoint, for my ride shares. I can adjust the front passenger seat really easily and quickly instead of reaching over so much. Is it worth it for just that feature? No. But using a Bluetooth gaming controller to play games is nice, and compared to using iPads, the screen is front and center and can be shared by everyone in the back more easily. Still, price is higher, so keep an eye out for discounts in the future… I’ll do my best to keep you informed when the prices go lower! There are many options on the market for these types of rear screen mods, and it’s worth it to shop around. They are worth it for me at least!

I can say for sure that 12.3.6 on HW3 doesn't like certain conditions, like when direct sunlight gets across the road through trees. It tries to slow down for deep shadows quite a bit. I think this video is pretty flawed in a way that the lighting conditions are totally different. Interesting comparison, but this "little" fact invalidates the whole thing.

When getting on and off the highway you can tell when it switches between V11 and V12. When getting on the highway you will be in V12 and see the automatic speed offset icon (auto/max). After merging from the on ramp into a traffic lane, auto/max will change to Max /70 (or whatever speed offset you have set.) Getting off the highway can be a little rough because it is going from V11 to V12. V11 doesn't understand where that exit goes, so is reluctant to go there. V12 doesn't seem to mind transferring to V11.

I disagree with iPhone analogy comparing to Teslas Here is why News iPhones are needed to run new and advanced software , like AI coming up. If you look at software of iPhone 5 years ago, it’s night and day However, if you compare driving from 5 years ago, it’s the same So second is static and unlike 3D games or iPhone software, does not get more complicated

@@shdmd2118 whoa! That’s a great analysis. I never thought of it like that before. So true. I supposed once it’s solved then it’s static and the small upgrades will be the entertainment stuff and apps. At that point it does become an iPhone, Right?!. 😂
