Maybe you should do a video about what people do like about planet fitness. I like the fact tgat the machines are just geared for overall exercise. For instance, if you just want to lose weight, the treadmill is one f the best machines. You don't even have to run, you can max out the incline and burn a lot of calories just walking at a decent pace. Yeah, the stair climber will burn a hundred calories in just a few minutes, but a few minutes is all most people can do on that machine. However, even if its your first time at the gym, you can burn 700 or so calories on the treadmill while you watch TV. Then you go play with some other machines at your own leisure and still lose weight without breaking a sweat. If you're trying to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Planet Fitness isn't for you. Their gym is designed for overall fitness. Inother words it's a gym for us fatties to just lose some weight and get into better health.

I mostly go cause it’s a big franchise and I go to more than one. In the morning near my job which is like an hour away and in the evening when near my home. Very convenient.

Planet fitness is the most perfect gym for beginners. It's really affordable so you don't feel the need to spend that much cash on a membership and the machines only go up to medium weight. You're not gonna push yourself so hard as a beginner anyway so...just go there, see if you like it and after a couple of months, sign up to a better gym.

I just left today and ended my membership, they hung up gay pride flags and pink and blue transgender flags. I asked the guy at the counter where is the American Flag? He side out there and I went to look outside the door and he side not in the plaza but in the community somewhere. I don't know if they know their customer base, I hope they stay around but they need to stop all the woke stuff.

If you have a pf with the life fitness machines some of them collab with hammer strength it's not that bad. The one in my town is smaller with matrix machines and it is kinda meh, but 10$ still worth it.

Planet Fitness’ base membership is not $10 a month. With taxes and fees it actually averages out to $17 a month with the Black Card memebership coming to $35 a month with taxes and fees. They are both kind of a rip off when you consider the price they are actually advertising. The base memebership gets you one measley location with zero benefits and the Black card gets you every location plus access to their “spa” which is nothing more than a handful of massage chairs and tanning beds that you have to jump through hoops to even use in the first place. The only way to pull one over would be if you knew someone who wanted a memebership also and would be able to go the same times and days that you do. If you can pull that off you can take advantage of the unlimited free guest passes that come with the Black Card. Under that scenario your friend could give you $10 a month to go with you brining your fee to $25 a month and that would be the only way to actually get the prices they advertise. Otherwise you are kind of being played. They also do not let you pay with cash or credit cards and only with a checking account which they never give you a heads up about the day they are going to withdraw that months fee so you are more than likely going to end up with overdraft fees a few times a year on top of it. This insistence on checking account payments is stupid for many reasons with the main reason being they are alienating potential customers who don’t want to pay with their checking accounts so they don’t get a memebership and Planet Fitness doesn’t get any money. I have a Black Card memebership and right off the bat I was hit with an overdraft fee of more than $30 just a couple of weeks after I signed up because no notice was given by them. All of these factors are what is driving down Planet Fitness and you can see it in the attendance. Every time I go there aren’t even 20 people in the place so I’m not sure how much longer they can go with this stupidity. Nick

Canceled PF membership. Joined brand new Crunch Fitness with everything a gym could and should offer. Place is huge. Super excited. I was there when they had grand opening. Packed every single day like a new nightclub. Events every weekend with different vendors. Parking nightmare even at 5 a.m. Couldn't work up a sweat since waiting for a machine was almost impossible. Canceled and returned to PF. Gained 25 pounds of muscle. Now i need to find a different gym with squat platform and better machines. PF has its uses. Putting it down is just trendy. If you can't build muscle at PF, then you haven't a clue what you're doing.
