Just a detail quibble: While yes, Darnold is on a "technically" a $5m deal this year, the signing bonus is pro-rated over 5 years, so they are on the hook for $10m total for Darnold for one year. Pretty clear from OverTheCap.

Question; What is the largest gap between Super Bowl victories for a coach, because for Sean Payton, it would be at least Eighteen, Twenty, or more years, and is it even realistic… Dick Vermeil is the longest between Super Bowl appearances with Twenty years… Payton could conceivably be the first with the largest gap between wins. But again, is it even likely… 🤔

He keeps saying he called around and no one else was going to take him there. I want to know if he had called every single team between 12 and the broncos next pick in round 3?
