Visiting your shop means a lot to this old fart. I enjoy your projects and good cheer, and can almost feel Blue's massive fuzzy skull under my hand. Thanks for sharing your world and travels with us. You are a mensch! Stan in Escondido California.

My Grandad worked with a German waiter,before the war, in Blackpool. His work colleague was called back to Germany when the war broke out. My Grandad ended up in the North Africa campaign. He heard a prisoner shout his name. It was his work mate. The waiter. He made my grandad a letter opener in the shape of a the Africa Corps which had the swastika under the palm tree. My grandad kept that hung up in his spare room all his life. It’s history we should never forget or get rid of. Ignore the keyboard idiots Craig.

I would like to say Thank you so much for getting my son inspired to do something constructive with his free time. He is bipolar and has some problems, but, he has rebuilt our summerhouse and converted it into a workshop. He now has an old Suzuki GZ125 and is rebuilding it as bobber. The GZ came from his brother and I bought a 2nd hand engine to put in the bike (yes, it was me that broke the engine trying to break the sound barrier,😊). Anyway, bike is part stripped and a decision being made - should it have a hard tail as it is his 1st build. Anyway massive again for the inspiration and motivation
@qtronicqilt8898Күн бұрын
All the best for the build on the Suzuki GZ125 that your son is doing - my guess rebuilding the summerhouse into a workshop was a task on its own merit - best of luck form Scotland.

He said he wanted a workshop and I said you can have the summerhouse. His idea and all his work and money. New concrete base. New roof. New stud walls. Reused the cladding.

@@twintech100It sold, I was so busy with other things I had to quickly get it sorted and delivered with a friend and his van as my van was off the road having brakes fixed, no one involved wanted filming so I have to respect that.

Hi Craig I believe the 3 soldiers died from a shell in the same dugout together. Most likely not possible to ID the body parts so buried together in a shared grave. Great trip. Loved the highlights

Thanks Craig, had some cheap matt black A4 vinyl sheets from making decals. Just put a sheet on the back of the numberplate on my bike, no more visible oil splatter from the chain.

I,ve a Myford Super7 Craig I use a rear parting tool with inserts works pretty well as long as take it easy feeding parting tool in. I waste hours machining things for my motorbikes/cars but like feeling of accomplishment. That was nice bit of machining.

seems like you could get away with a much smaller chain? no idea what available for these what do you need like 5000lb max rating? maybe a 450 can handle that and it takes less power to turn a smaller chain, free up a few hp..
