Harbor Freight sells things that Home Depot and Lowes won’t sell such as good nitrile gloves that are actually big enough for a MAN.

Have had nothing but issues with it. Problems with it not communicating, sometimes not picking up basic modules like ABS on certain models. Fighting with the store so I don't have to pay a restocking fee. You know its bad when the dated Matco Maxlite it was bought to replace can still run circles around it while it's being phased out.

How much was the atlas battery? They usually run $110. I honestly need a new one for my mower
@FreshVintageGarage26 күн бұрын

@ashenmoonclash29 күн бұрын
That HB clearance rack is dangerous for spending more money😅
@VB-bk1lh29 күн бұрын
I just picked up a sandblaster like that here for $10, it was missing its original hose end. On the same rack was a deadman sandblast valve for $8. About 5 years ago I got a 21 gal. upright air compressor for $39.99, someone had stolen the air cleaner off it. I simply made a new one for it using a lawnmower muffler and some foam. (It not only worked as a filter it made the thing super quiet as well. Generally the deals in the clearance racks aren't that great, often barely lower than the value of the missing pieces, but every so often you can hit a home run.

Hi thanks for watching and checking out Fresh Vintage Garage we do appreciate it! Unfortunately we're not able to show you a lot of the things you mentioned above unless we actually have a car in our possession that has a check engine light on with these specific issues (believe me we tried to access these things, and unfortunately the software will not allow us to go into any given OEM unless we have the scan tool hooked up to a vehicle with that specific issue going on) 👍

"...And ECU coding." I would absolutely love to see this thing do SVM coding and new module security authentication on an Audi, or code replacement modules on a geolocation-locked Mercedes. Fairly certain it can't, but Launch has pulled off some pretty crazy software hacks in the past, some of which arguably fall into felony territory. I would love to ditch the remote programming service I use, but as it stands, I have yet to see a third-party scantool that can properly and reliably deal with Mercedes and Audis, and I don't do enough of them to justify a dedicated ODIS and Xentry setup.
@FreshVintageGarageАй бұрын
Scan tool manufacturers use the term ECU Coding pretty loosely so take it with a grain of salt for sure 👍

Can you re do this test with a Eastview 4.0 battery? I think this would be a little fairer
@FreshVintageGarage2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! We were looking at the 4.0 Ah Eastvolt and were not going to include it, but then found the 2.0 Ah impact for such a good price we had to buy and include in the video. Fingers crossed we can try the 4.0 Ah in a future video!

I do keep their 3/8 drive socket set and their wrench set in my truck at all time. Got them for like $30 each a year ago. Everyone should keep a small tool set in their car or truck at all time. Just in case you run into someone who knows how to use them and get you out of a pickle.
@mrfunnylookinhayes90882 ай бұрын
I would want to put cheap ones in my daughters cars so they can change a tire if I'm not in town. I have a F150 and I use Milwaukee. I was just looking at the Eastview and it say it have 370ft lbs of torque. And it have a 4.0 amp hour battery on it. Maybe your video showed them that they need a bigger battery in it. Or do you have choice of batteries?
@mrfunnylookinhayes90882 ай бұрын
Did I miss rather or not all three did not take off lug nuts? I think if you going to buy these three cheap ones you will want to keep them in your vehicle so you can change a tire really quick so you can get off the roadway. And use it for nothing else.

AD310BT is newer and lets you do more with iphone app with it but cost about twice the amount. AD310 does serve its purpose for basic scan tool it does alot for $20-25. for small things, keep in car , etc. AD410 is much better but does cost a bit more. I have the AD410 and bought the AD310 for my son to be able to read and clear codes and monitor basic stuff , he will not be doing anything more then that. while at college. Avoids a trip to Autoparts store to get them to scan it
