I've used many Chinese tires and the only thing that I find them lacking in is tread life. However, i only put 10,000km per year on my car. Having said that, the ride quality and performance was always fine. I've never had a problem with grip in rain or snow. I currently have Chinese summer tires and Chinese winter tires. It's far more dangerous to drive like a lunatic on expensive tires than to drive responsibly on cheap tires. If you care about safety, don't drive like an idiot.

I've owned V8, V6, Inline 6,4,3,2 and Flat 6. Out of those my favourite is V8 just because they're big, torque monsters that have power everywhere. Albeit I'd rather have a V12 😮 they're some next level shit. But for a daily driver and or performance car. It's hard to beat a car with a light small forced induction four cylinder with a dual clutch and all wheel drive. That combination in the real world? It's really freaking fast.

Find a well maintained one, will be cheaper in the long run. You need to bring it somewhere and it’s basically $1200 a repair. Starter $1200, fuel pump $1200, alternator $1200, wheel bearing $1200, timing belt $1200.
