No definitely not, we did have to pay for a round trip ticket and I honestly can’t remember how much bit it wasn’t expensive

Were restaurants pretty easy to get into? Was room service included? Debating between this and another for aug. And was there anything besides the buffet that you didn’t like??

Yes it was easy to get to them and yes room service was included. The Italian was the best!!

Ha well that’s a good question I don’t say that correctly lol 😂 they have gospel music concerts I think on Fridays and worship services on Sunday, so not like a religious camp or anything, just a very nice family friendly campground, I hope that makes more sense

Hello, great to see that you guys like your stay at Lakewood and I enjoy you experienced the best of your trip. I like Lakewood because my family has just always went to Lakewood but I would like to go to Pirate Land and Ocean Lakes just to give them a try! I like that Lakewood is family friendly, easy access to the beach (multiple accesses areas), indoor and outdoor pool with a waterpark. Also I like that they have a mini waterpark for the kiddos. They have great amenities such as mini golf, paddle boating, shopping, swimming, playing corn hole and grabbing ice cream with the family. Finally I also like that the prices aren't too high which is a good thing.

Great video girls. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S

An extra pair of warm socks, gloves , hat and scarf. Must take care of your feet and hands. Bread bags also help keep feet dry:)

Great job! A couple of adds. Have salt! I’ve had to use salt packets for a Grand Canyon hike and a Half marathon. Saved me. Also have some type of retrieval gear if you are in your rig. Even if it’s a tie down. I’ve used it with the winch to help others out in a situation. I also have the small Titon Solo Stove. Good warmth and coffee on the tailgate. It takes twigs. Double up on the hand warmers. Stick in socks and gloves. I appreciate you sharing.

That trail. Looks cool like hurricane gap logging trail located in Greene county heading up the mou gain to rich mountain fire tower located about 4 miles north of hot springs, nc. I plan on going back over there soon to drive on all the logging trails and on upper and lower paint creek roadways. I also want to eventually drive on buzzards roost, cataloochie trail and hurricane creek trail up to max patch. You can also go through Newport and go drive on Rocky top over to hall mou gain logging road,
