Brilliant stuff! The reason that the Left are so dominant in Western culture today can be traced back to a German leftist called Rudi Dutschke who (in the '60s and '70s) urged the Left to mount a "long march through the institutions" - teacher training colleges, schools, universities, media, government - getting leftists in there to push the leftist agenda - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudi_Dutschke en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_march_through_the_institutions Fast-forward 50+ years and we can see the results. University students who get "offended" by everything and who smugly think that they know everything (when in fact they know almost nothing). Young people who can rattle off 50+ "gender pronouns" but who don't know what happened on 6th June 1944. Children who are terrified about the *LIE* of so-called "manmade climate change" (which is debunked on the site below) - wattsupwiththat.com/ The answer to all this? PRIVATISE education so that it is taken out of the hands of Government meddlers and SJW brainwashers (aka leftist "teachers").

Got to know my students in new school. Was told had to sit with them in total silence in 'detention'. Did Spike Milligan (Feck that) and we did more work in detention than in the class! Give kids a chance for the Love of God and teachers? Very Much So. All my 'bunked off' students passed every exam ... well done them.

In light of the tragic death of a headteacher recently, this song screams so much truth about how it is like for teachers and what they have to put up with. Hopefully, there is change as a result, but it shouldn't have been allowed to get to that position in the first place. First and foremost teachers - and pupils/students - are people, not robots with input and output. That just part of the problems due to OFSTED. Bravo to FA for this ditty.

Sadly this is VERY RELEVANT this year, following the death of a head teacher who took her own life following an inspection 😢

As someone who taught at universities for decades, and had to lead preparations for the university versions of these inspections, I fully identify with these sentiments! (Even if we came out OK!)

Very well half done. Half, as in zero to sing about the outrageous level of Far Leftism that has permeated the teaching profession, it's appalling academic standards, the sky high prostitution of the grading system and the rabid anti-white complexion on everything to do with the Caucasian race vis a vis all other races. Remeber folks, Jane Austen and Shakespeare are white centric, elitist and, yes, racist. Just think of how funny the song could be if they had the guts to rope that and a lot more else in. Do you think F.A. will ever do a song about Londonstabistan? Sadiq Khant? Positive discrimination? Uncontrolled immigration, aka "Rub the Right's nose in Diversity"? Muslim rape gangs in Britain? Non-white on white crime? The PC Useless Police? Anti-white straight man prejudice? Too many single mothers doing an appalling job of mothering and being a shameless tax burden? There's plenty more. No, of course they won't. They're part of the Leftist, liberal, arts elite. The late Jack Pulman's daughter, Liza Pulman, is singing beautifully here. She's also up her own arts.

Ok that was funny. However, I really like this tendency of English teachers to blame Ofsted for everything wrong with their performances. Granted, the majority of pupils come from broken homes and irresponsible parents who should have been neutered, and the little shits should be dealt with cricket bats wrapped around their heads. It is therefore a tragedy this PC/Woke climate that lets them get away with everything. But the teachers, in my humble experience as former English teacher (I will never ever teach in a school again: terrible establishments, terrible colleagues. Now I teach music privately and I don’t have to deal with dickheads in authority seats)., lack completely the capability to inspire students, even a bit of hoomph to bend those rules we all know being asinine. So it is all fucked-up: Ofsted, the schools, the teachers, the students and the families (or lack of)...
@trueaussie9230 Жыл бұрын
Here here. 'Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.' Unfortunately within the teaching profession far too many 'can't'. The task of a 'teacher' is to inspire the students to learn. Just because one 'knows' a subject doesn't mean they can teach it. By contrast, a good 'teacher' will inspire students to learn a subject that the teacher knows little - if anything - about.
