Hello my friend i have a question and I'll be thankful if you answer me 😊 i have goldfinches and when i breed them and put them in cages all close to each other if one of then fear something like fireworks or earthquake at night they all get crazy and panicking and bumping into the cage walls and they end up loosing their wing feathers do you have this problem ? And if no how do you prevent it ??

Great job MATE Thank you for sharing 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I breed alot of Red" siskins, Yellow Siscan, Cannerys and many small finches.. It took me many years to Finally Get some Red" siskins crossed with yellow. These birds are Simply BEAUTIFUL. I ended up with 9" birds from only two yellow siscan hens. So now I will be putting my Crossed SISCANS WITH Gold" finches. Hello. I have a question about breeding goldfinches if you don't mind please. Do both the male and female do the side to side swaying dance? I got a pair of goldfinches but I have the feeling that they may both be male. I've never had goldfinches before so this is all new to me. I've been looking through some of your videos - some really valuable information amongst them

Hi Ray on your eggfood video you use a food mill for eggs, I have tried this a few times now but the egg just mashes into the bottom disc and doesn't go through do you leave your boiler eggs to dry out before doing this ?

Yes it'll work but when one of the hands builds a nest take the other hand out of the cage

That can be difficult,but in-between his wings is called the rump,males tend to be coloured and hens tend to be brown.but some mutations are hard to tell,until they sing.

I pair my goldfinch mules pairs straight after the mult so they can bond together through the winter for breeding season.a small tip when they sleep together on same purch they have bonded.
