Guess there is no learning curve. Tough crowd. I have been a sports card collector for over 30 years. Never really got into Pokémon. In the last 8 months, I have been introduced to hundreds of Pokémon cards, and, although I will probably never play the game, I really enjoy the artwork and the characters. Maybe one day I will be as worthy as everyone who is so negative.

We have been buying and selling Pokémon items, including cards, for about 8 months now. In that time, we have learned a lot about the characters and cards, and I personally enjoy seeing these cards almost as much as the sports cards that we have. A big thanks to many of our customers for educating us. Most of us have to start somewhere. Apparently you just came out of the womb knowing all that there is to know about Pokémon.

As I explained in the video. I only put the cards in order because I had multiples of many of the cards, and I pre graded them in order. This is the first submission where I had multiples, so it was new to me. I didn't intend to take that long to sort the cards, but it was a blind reveal and I wanted it to be shown exactly as it happened. Instead I get wise ass remarks from people like you, when all you have to do is fast forward if you don't want to watch some parts. Lighten up, enjoy life and keep collecting.

They do fall within PSA standards for the grades. Problem is PSA was so strict for so long that they didn't follow their own guidelines, which set an unreal expectation with the collectors.

Sometimes, the cards grade lower than expected. If you regrade them, another grader may give a better grade. I agree, it is a flawed system. If they graded every card to the same standard, there should never be a card that regrades higher or lower than the original grade.

Thanks for the positive contribution to the hobby. The point of grading any card in this set, for me, is to obtain a complete PSA graded set. As mentioned in the video, if they do not grade at least a 9, I lose. If they grade 9 or better, it is cheaper than buying them already graded.

As a card grader all of your cards look from 8.5 - 10 of course would have to see them in front of me but from the video it looks like you should have gotten 15 8.5, 40 9s 4 or 5 10s and a couple 8s
@cjcollection285
@cjcollection285 5 ай бұрын
Maybe I should have had you grade them. I agree with you. I went over these cards diligently and there is no way any should have graded below an 8. I don't even think there should have been more than a handful of 8s, but that is the game we play.....

Nice grades, really... on a lot of the 8s I see centering issues(top/bottom, mostly)... I bet if you compare the corners on the 10(Ross Lonsberry) to some of the 8s you'll see how much sharper the 10 is... The Ken Dryden All Star has 'snow' on the surface(white dots or abrasions)... some of the other 7s and the 6 might have partial wax stains?... congrats though...

That was some brutal grading for such nice bright and centered cards. Check your 9’s again and send in a few of the best ones to ask why they aren’t 10’s. Ironically your one 10 is outside of 10 spec on the centering on the back of the card. It’s like they randomly threw you a 10 because you sent in enough cards. Been there as they did the same to me. Also, most of those 8’s looked like they could have got the half point bump as they were at the high end for the grade. Anyways that was fun watching - good luck with the set build. Subbed!

Great cards. I assume you busted vending boxes. Or purchased lot stripped of Brett RC Yount RC Rose Bench Base card of Aaron Also the half grade game is gone …. When you were stating 7.5 s you werent thinking that number but trying to underemphasize what you submitted thus yr 7.5 pregrades balloon into 9s There is hardly no such distinction

@cjcollection285 5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. When I pre grade a .5, it is because I believe the card is better than the lower grade, but not quite good enough for the higher grade. Not much science involved, just my personal opinion. It also shows just how little a difference there can be between a 7 and a 9.
