I'm debating going during Golden Week. Initially planned to go to Hiroshima after flying into Matsuyama and I'm hoping the crowds will be less pressing.

My visit was on December21. It was extremely cold and windy but well worth it. Spring or Fall would be best for color.

I lived in Takamatsu for 4 years. Ritsurin Koen is one of my favourite places in the world. I miss it so bad. In fact I think it's the place I most miss. I hope one day to see it again.

The luxury hotels were extremely beautiful. The view was lovely. I'm not really into hostels but I wouldn't mind staying at WeBase. It was very clean and spacious. Thank you for sharing this.

Love it. This are the cultural gems of Kagawa. I love the fact that the are no troves of tourists. My grandfather was from Kagawa left for Peru in the 1930s.
