The rear tire is a 240 50 16. I think you said it was 55. I have 83,000 miles on my 2020 Gt and according to the computer I am getting cumulatively 38 mpg. I do a fair amount of group riding so it does not do as well on fuel mileage when I am alone. My next bike will be another Rocket, hands down.

@@Fuelmyinspiration The range is about 150 to 160 miles if you are riding normal in a group. I will be looking hard for gas alone around 120 to 130 miles. Real stupid at 100 miles. But that was a one time only ride alone in Mexico where I was 100 mph plus for an entire 75 mile ride.

Have you had a passenger and how was the seat for them? I’ve had the mustang solo seat for years, and always felt it was just “ok”, not super comfy like other mustang seats I’ve used. I never thought it’d happen, but I got a new girl and she’s actually interested in motorcycles. So now I need a passenger seat, this way would be cheaper since I already got the solo, but I’m unsure if I’m better off trying a completely different seat. I really wish saddlemen would make a seat for the classic scout, then my choice would be easy. TIA.
@Fuelmyinspiration
@Fuelmyinspiration 4 ай бұрын
I’m with you on saddleman expanding their product. Well I’ll be blunt with you Yes, I had a passenger and did not mind the seat. Also the sissy bar helped out a lot since it covers up the back of the person well and the cushion adds comfort. Honestly, I don’t like my mustang seat lol the market for scouts is poor in my opinion but I just bought a cushion last week and let me tell you… I should’ve done that a long time ago lol all the difference in the world. I’ll post a video of it soon actually. Lastly, the scout isn’t what you call “passenger friendly” it just feels out of balance and struggles to go and stop compared to bigger bikes. Personally I’ll take a passenger on a bigger bike than the scout. But if you decide to do so, please be careful as it takes longer to take off and stop. Just my experience. I hope that helps!

@@Fuelmyinspiration I never got to ride the BMW but I watched a lot of KZfaq videos like yours and decided the Triumph maintenance was cheaper to maintain. Most of my riding will be street with an occasional dirt road. Although I do have dirt experience racing motocross in my younger years being 68 years old I think I’ll keep it on pavement. The 1200 is a lot heavier than that Suzuki RM 250 that I had. I only bought a top box but will buy some panniers in the future. I also put upper crash bars, axle sliders, and a sump guard just in case something does happen. Good luck in choosing your new motorcycle.
