Beautiful. I just have to smile at the hang on effects of wearing a white shirt and tie in respect and humble honour to their duty to God in their worship. The British Empire still has its effects all over the world.😉 I’ve had some experience of Barber Shop type singing in the U.K. and it is certainly good fun. Personally I think they need a larger bass section to give it more depth, but they’ve done a beautiful presentation with some lovely people. May Jesus be praised every day in joyful song. 🙏

The Choirmaster of this choir has passed on...this is a good memory of this gentleman.....he is a policeman in the Fiji Police Force, and is the face of the Tourism Fiji greeting tourists disembarking from Cruise Liners berthed at Lautoka Port......he is a drawcard with his Ulu vaka Viti-(Fijian Afro)

families you interviewed have been there for generation. The house is being passed down from parent to children over the years. Everyone knows everyone and the history of the area. Gold mining is the only thing they know. THere was history of racism as well, but everyone was happy and lived well with each other, esp the children. I grew up there in there late 80s to the mid 90s and moved across the river to Nasivi Estate. Life was simple back then.

I love listening to choirs that sings without instruments, just voices This brings my memory back in my days, in 1970s and 1980 growing up in West New Britain province of Papua New Guninea. I'am watching this video in Port Moresby.

The old bridge was a single lane bridge with a single train track along the side and a pedestrian walkway on the other side. If one met an oncoming larger vehicle in the missle one had to reverse back - the edges of the bridge were only 50 cm high!

Funnily enough, there was a photo in the newspaper a few days ago of an incident where a digger on an army vehicle fell off and lodged itself against a van in the opposite direction carrying bottles. 😃

Indian Hindus should prepare English sub titles of the pundit chanting. To begin with pundit said: 6:49 the first prayer should be to the mother earth. 20:38 "Om ishthdevata..." (it is very important here to understand the concept of God/ goddesses here) Isthdevtaye (in simple terms it is personalised God/ goddesses of the individual/ family...), 'kuldevtayein' (clan or clans God / goddesses), 'gramdevtayein' (village gods/ goddesses)

15:31 This guy is so out of touch; Fiji is changing and all for the best. Apparently, he doesn't read The Fiji TImes for, if he did, he would realize how much money THE GOVERMENT OF FIJI spends on the understanding of climate change and rising ocean levels. Bro Mr. Pale Blue Dot you are an idiot full of bull and an idiot--your accent says it so. You were not born in Fiji and this is just an attempt to connect with your parents whom you didn't listen to when you were young, And, I am not so different from you althought I was brought up in Fiji

This video is older that 2023; dude is lying. First of all, this guy is not from Nakasi or Nasinu and second, he is plain old lying; for when I went back home (I grew up in Fiji and went to Dilkusha Boys' School) in 2019, there was a distinctive, large hole in the bridge about midpoint. Quit lying bro..

Maybe if the world govts left the weather up to nature we wouldnt have a climate crisis.Research weather manipulation and HAARP - most western countries are taking part in this. Our NZ prime minister has recently been to Thailand to sell planes that do exactly this. Please watch your skies and research geo engineering - it is destroying our environment.
