The Choirmaster of this choir has passed on...this is a good memory of this gentleman.....he is a policeman in the Fiji Police Force, and is the face of the Tourism Fiji greeting tourists disembarking from Cruise Liners berthed at Lautoka Port......he is a drawcard with his Ulu vaka Viti-(Fijian Afro)

families you interviewed have been there for generation. The house is being passed down from parent to children over the years. Everyone knows everyone and the history of the area. Gold mining is the only thing they know. THere was history of racism as well, but everyone was happy and lived well with each other, esp the children.
