I did trash this for how poor it performed withbnot enough system sellers, but that whole star wars idea with eye tracking, made right, I'm sold.

It's a failure. They arent even making anymore for the time being. It's not killed but they cant sell enough to keep a huge backstock. Where are the system selling games. That's over $1000 to play 1 game so where's the games tgat are more than tech demos? More RE8, Horizon was a gimmicky tech demo. Pavlov is the closest they've come to doing a reall call of duty style vr2 game. I guarantee they get battlefield or cod on VR2 with the same graphical quality as ps5 or series X regular version games, then i think it'd do better but not until they lower the cost.

PSVR2 has good hardware, and the price reflects that, which is fine. I don't think that is a valid point of criticism, but I think it is important to mention since the average person probably doesn't know or care about the hardware. They see "Quest $299" vs "PSVR2 $499 + PS5 $499". But I do think the lack of first party games is a problem. He have gotten exclusives like RE4, but to my knowledge, Sony hasn't released a first party game since launch over a year ago, and then only one of them is VR exclusive and it's digital only.

FOV and sweetspot is bad, but u will get used to it, because comfort and size is awesome

It's a good headset, buttttttt.....Issues are that it needs a 500$ console, not enough games, and a price. The reason people dont like the price is because of the need for console, meaning the quality to price ratio with ps5 and headset is too high.

This is the second video I’ve seen by you now and I am a psvr 2. Love it. I really do think it’s the best one for the money and immersive tech. Sony did a good job making it feel next gen. But damn ya the support is crazy lacking. I don’t regret my purchase. I love what they have but I do wish they would do more to get it out there and use their huge PlayStation IPs. At the very least help fund ports from the first psvr lol

I use virtual desktop purely because it supports wifi and steam link is ethernet cable only

i have this headset, personally I really dont like it. I agree with you about the build quality, the hardware is actually really nice, but the controllers track at a really low frequency, something like 40hz it feels, and it makes beat saber unplayable and makes games with throwables get their trajectories messed up (happened in budget cuts, rec room, and gorn, and that didnt happen through quest link). Also the fan is pretty distracting and strangely sounds like a lawn mower sound coming through my window (thats what i thought it was for the first few hours after i got it, until i took the thing off and realized the sound was coming from it). Also the software is really finnicky and i constantly have to reset my room. it's so close to being a pretty darn good headset, especially because i got it used for 300 dollars from their website, and all it would take is a few decent software upgrades to get it there, but DPVR has really dropped the ball in terms of lack of updates since i got my unit. Also, the 120hz screen is limited to 90hz on AMD cards - like c'mon. great for VRchat maybe, but not so great for any other type of user. You made a good review, and earned a new sub

Hey Marty! First of all: Awesome Video! Thanks for making me aware of this awesome tech! But I ran into a problem and I cant seem to figure it out. Whenever I use Beta Cast 2.0 and swap to cinematic mode i get black bars on the side of the screen in Link mode. As long as I'm casting from the Quest 3 home menu everything works and looks finde but as soon as I start casting the Link menu or a PC Game there are those black bars, that make the recording unusable. I tested so many things already, like different USB Ports, updating the headset, changing screen scaling on windows and more. How can I get a high FOV, stabilized screen capture without any black bars? There has to be a way... Hope you can help me! Greetings from germany

Headset exclusivities should'nt exist. I have a pico 4, I play on pcvr, and everytime there is a game that seem amazing, I check it and it is a shitty exclusitity from meta or sony. Sony really want me to pay 900€ to buy a console and a headset that will be obselete in 3 years to play the 5 interesting games that are on it

How do you get the mic on the quest 3 using this method?

1 major thing I seem to run into in VR is disorientation with head look around aiming independent from torso aim due to dual analog aim and movement..... Basically, I'll look 1 direction and forget I'm not torso facing that direction, then moving forward I'm suddenly confused on where the hell I'm going, trying to sort of/somewhat realign the 2 in the same general direction. And I have no idea/how to remedy it, and it really throws me off. But yeah, any tops/advice/etc would be really greatful/much appreciated.
