I love how simple this is. I've tried journaling/scrapbooking and its so overwhelming and takes up time i can use to read. I'll definitely be saving this in my favorites

Thank you for this! I got a kindle about 3 weeks ago and decided to start a reading journal. I have been struggling with a layout. Looking at pinterest brought up so many different ideas and it was overwhelming. I just want something sort of straightforward and simple. Love what you are doing here,

i loved the style of your reading journal. I've been wanting to make one for myself so I could have something physical to look back on but have felt intimated thinking it needed to look a certain way

I just moved halfway across the country and I put my art supplies in a giant clear tote I got at Target. I bought small gift boxes on Amazon and used those for all of my paints. I used smaller clear totes and put my neocolor tins (I have the small tin and the tin you have) in one along with my paint markers. I put the Caran D'Ache palate on top of the tins and when I packed the entire box up, I put the box in between the paint boxes and my canvas boards. I laid my Derwent Inktense pencil tin between my silicone mats and sketch pads and everything survived the pod trip across the country as well as the move into my new apartment. I can send you a photo of how I packed my supplies up if you'd like.

I just started a physical reading journal (only tracked things digitally previously) and I so appreciate seeing a fellow “minimalist” journaler. The extravagant spreads are very beautiful, but no way could I keep up with that. Thanks for sharing!

What art platform do you use? I always see people drawing lines that correct themselves automatically, or paint buckets that work when you drag and drop the color but I can never figure out how or what makes them do that

I think it's procreate! But I use Autodesk Sketchbook and it has a tool to correct your lines for you :))

I use procreate! I've used it for so long I don't really use anything else at this point but I have fiddled around with Adobe Fresco as well and I think it does the line correcting and drop color too 🤍

Great decision to get them all! I also love neocolor II and have around 50 colors, but they are enough, bc ai got the 30 set and then colors I wanted individually. I carry mine in a study Milan pencil case. Might make a favorites video and put then in there soon ^^

How does this tour only have 271 views?! Fantastic sketchbook. I love your style. I hope you also discovered that A&O got new blank books and WATERCOLOR sketchbooks in their last drop. They have them now in their everyday essentials section and they will be restocked often. I was so excited to see that blank is now in their lineup!

I have the same set of Holbein wcs or similar and they are more opaque than their other wcs. I was kind of confused at first too. But then who cares?...they're so soft & beautiful! If I could only choose ONE wc brand, I'd probably choose Holbein. I don't have a huge collection, but I add when I can.

I use many different vendors for my products, many of whom reach out to me on social media. When I was first getting started I googled washi tape manufacturers and started with reaching out to each company directly until I found a good fit. Sometimes there are group buys on Facebook where everyone orders from one manufacturer to get a lower price. That's how I started out with washi tape actually!

It's a Stillman & Birn Zeta Series Softcover Sketchbook, 8" x 10". The Mixed Media Version. I actually really love it, I will definitely be repurchasing after I've filled it up!

Thats one of the most unique styles I've seen people use neocolors in. I have to talk myself out of getting them all the time because I know I would struggle to use them.

I will look into the colored pencil tin! I was looking at crayon organizers but the neocolors are slightly longer than crayons so they don't fit.
