Just a recommendation that the audio book for Braiding Sweetgrass is fantastic!

I was listening and not watching and glanced over when you were talking about the witch trial book and I am not surprised. Bill O'Reilly is not a good man and is a bit obsessed with the founding fathers lol. You probably would not want to hear his opinion on the trials tbh

I picked up ship of magic last month, fell in love and ended up finishing the whole trilogy. I'm too far ahead in the Fitzalong now lol

I really liked the live ship books, but I dropped robin hobb after I read them and the first Fitz books. The cosy sci fi hotel mystery sounds really good, made me think of hunters and collectors by Matt Suddain, but cosy 😅

This was soooo lovely to watch (and NO, I do NOT have any puppy-napping plans right now, I don't know WHAT you're talking about), you got to see so many amazing authors and get sooooo many editions signed IN MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD. Seeing it still just makes me sigh and my heart so full (okay, and yes, lots of envy--someday my body will cooperate long enough to book a trip again, SOMEDAY...although I DID promise my daughter she'd meet every Disney character first). Edinburgh is so gorgeous and SO NOT OVER 90 stupid degrees (wait, you guys use Celsius, that's...34 and half this week). You did such a good job capturing some of the best scenery and catching all the convention highlights, and you're so brave getting into vlogging, I'm a total chicken! MORE PLEASE, you're so adorable in little candid moments! 💕

I had very similar feelings on A Botanical Daughter. I had such a bad reading month when I read it that I think I gave it a higher rating than it deserved. I loved the vibes of the green house but the whole thing with the two girls really kinda put me off. Great idea, mediocre execution

Oh you sweet summer child, Scott lynch has been teasing book 4 (of 7) fro the Gentleman Bastard series for 9 years. I hope it comes out at some point before i die as I loved the fist 3 books so so so much.

It’s so funny how Cabin the book is so similar to the movie but I much prefer the book so I think you’ll get a lot out of this read even if you’ve already watched the movie. Have a great July!!

I will say with Blue Period it gets less information heavy as the protagonist becomes more experienced/learned. I also DO NOT recommend watching the anime instead. The anime adaptation cuts out a lot of stuff and just really isn't as good. The writing in the series is great and it only gets better as it goes on (imo) so I hope you end up giving the manga another chance 👍

I loved Christina Henry's retelling of Alice in Wonderland. It was very horror heavy and I have been waiting for someone to say something about the House that Horror Built, it's been on my list to watch. I am a bit disappointed it wasn't good lol

I love Abominable book club box it’s amazing! I love horror so much! Also it’s way better than most American subscription boxes imo because you get three books and all of those hot beverages and I get to try British snacks which is a blast! And it actually is a great value for the price. So here in the states it cost me $52 with shipping and tax from the UK. Here I find horror book subscriptions cost more then that for only one book and a few other trinkets and if there is a hot drink included it’s like one tea bag ir hot coco etc so honestly it’s one of the best book subscription boxes I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot. It’s definitely the best value for the price. You are right Dracula isn’t the best choice however I think if you keep getting it you won’t be too disappointed. Also this ilumicrate box was my first box from them for the same price and honestly it was pretty bad for the same price as the abominable book club where we got three books. Also I agree the stuff that you call sawdust for the packaging that abominable and ilumicrate does suck it’s very messy when they could just use that bubbly wrap paper like the first box you opened would be less dirty and less annoying lol. I FINALLY HAVE TIME TO WATCH THIS UNINTERRUPTED! I made popcorn. I LOVE THIS THUMBNAIL and have watched the intro about eight times when I was desperate for a smile. But please DO tell Stich that he needs to up his costume game because he simply is NOT keeping up with you, Briar Rose! Also, these new transitions and the music are amazing, you put SO MUCH WORK into this! Ugh, yes, I literally have to pretend that Ella Enchanted the movie has absolutely nothing to do with the book, and ONLY THEN can it love it. Hmmm...not Thumbelina, Anastasia, or The Swan Princess? Did those not make it across the pond? Waaaaaiiiitt A River of Golden Bones is a SLEEPING BEAUTY retelling? I backed away as soon as I saw the word "bones" in the title...but you make it sound kind of like Sleeping Beauty mixed with The Liar's Crown...plus wolf shifters? I'm kinda into it... Justice for Toadling, that name is ROUGH. But like, also kind of cute...so long as it's not mine. Okay I would TOTALLY wear that outfit on the cover of Snow and Poison. I LOVED the author's Bluebloods series when I was younger and in my vampire phase...and Witches of East End was kind of fun too, not gonna lie. Gasp, you haven't read A Curse So Dark and Lonely yet?? Next you'll be telling me you haven't read ACOTAR, it's such a classic...actually, this one didn't totally blow me away but it had its merits, I liked the representation with the main heroine. And what's NOT to love about Beauty and the Beast...A Prince keeps you in a CASTLE with SERVANTS and a GIANT LIBRARY. Where do I sign up?? OMG BEASTLY DON'T DO ITTTTT. I've never read it but they made it into a show with Vanessa Hudgens (Yes, High School Musical) and it was so so sooooo bad. If Neil Patrick Harris can't make it good either...I MUST question the original material. Wait, girl, you're reading all those chapters in A CORSET. That is a BOLD choice. Our book taste either totally overlaps or I've never heard of your picks/would NEVER read them (the horror ones), and I love it so much. Did she also do Secret Circle? That show was NOT given a proper chance... Why are your little animated intros always so dang good, I am SO lazy… And NO.
