Wow 2 of the greats. Gregg & Dickie miss them both. ❤ always sounded great live. Gregg voice, always on point. ❤️❤️❤️Dickie always an amazing, amazing player. Wore out all their LP’s growing up in the 70s.

Not sure what "Third Degree" is, but the video opens with "Going Down Slow" - a Jimmy Oden song - which was covered by Duane Allman and appeared on "Duane Allman: An Anthology". Some of the best soloing I've heard from EC during this era. And this version of "Tearing Us Apart" is just smokin' with Sheryl Crow really bringing it on vocals. Gotta get the DVD!

I played rock in a local band in the mid 70s. This was one of the first tunes our band leader wrote up for us. We enjoyed playing a lot of their music.

What my brother and I did that day could never happen today. We were clear back in the south stadium when we decided to roam around and take in the sights and music. We got all the way to the north stadium bleachers behind the stage where there were no people. The elevated stage was built up right up against the lower seats of the north stadium and we just started moving down to the stage. In this video you can see the curtain back drops on both sides and behind the stage and you can see a gap between the back and side panels. This is where we entered and walked onto the stage. We could see the crowd in Memorial Stadium from the performers vantage point. I was standing next to a guitar case that had a bumper sticker that said "Country Swing Ain't Dead, It's Asleep At The Wheel" Next thing I know John Denver is standing 10 feet away from us. We exchanged greetings and thanked him for coming to Lincoln for this benefit, face to face with that big John Denver smile. We saw no one who looked like security and no one bothered us. We did not stay long but that is a memory that will long be with me. I was 31. There was a video on KZfaq of John Denver. If you can find it it is worth watching.

Second drummer couldn't keep up the groove - I could drum better than he did at this concert. I've heard him in subsequent videos, and he did just fine. I guess everyone has a bad night or two. Peter was/is ALWAYS in the groove. A great rendition of a great song.

I was always into Johnny Winter since the very 1st time I herd him back in the early 70's, saw him Live several times around Buffalo. Always put on a great live show. I must say that this recording is one of the best I seen on youtube of Johnny Winter! thanks for posting some real music.

I'm a big Johnny Winter fan and have never seen this entire show until now. Although I don't like the sound of the black Lazer as much as his Firebird or the white Lazer, he killed it on this show!! YEAH!!!!!!!!

Yes, I was there, also only 16 and supporting the film crew. That line about the camera man being fixated on Grace Slick may be true but it's not the reason you don't see Marty Balin in the final edit. The reality is we had only two camera rolling and the one assigned to Marty ran out of film so Grace is all they had to use when cutting the film. He eventually re-lpaded but ya, I saw her and she was stunning.
