There is a shipwreck on Fraser Island, off the coast of Queensland, Australia. I'm curious if you and your team know anything about it

Sometimes, I wish I could pause time and live by myself on a sub or a small boat for a few weeks or a few months. But then be able to come back to when I left off. That prob doesn't make sense to most people but I'd love to leave on July 1st, have a month by myself on the water...then come right back to July 1st, so I don't miss life/family. Sounds silly, I know lol.

These *catholic* reverends are so damn DUMB, only a ignorant fool would call himself reverend, the Bible says in Psalms 111:9 that Reverend is a name of God, you can't steal God's glory and puff yourself up to be a gawd, you just wind up cut down to hell.

Thank you for the thorough and very accurate documentary on the ship's history! There is, however, one question I have. At 20:48, you mention that there was a cat on board. However, books documenting the events of the Mary Celeste state that there is no actual evidence of a cat being present on board, and that this idea was one of the myths surrounding the ship. Are there any credible sources claiming otherwise?

The leverman was in his 70s at the time I believe. There were reports from back then of headend crews falling asleep at their post.

As a surviving monkey from the ship, we pronounced its name, the Floss. As in dental.

Since it’s on private property, I’m guessing the Potts Hot Spring (tub and deck) is no longer open to the public?

Am unfamiliar with past 'rules & regulations' for a vessel proceeding to sea, however, in this era, a vessel cannot proceed to sea, without a port warden's 'certificate of seaworthiness'. A huge red flag is leaving the loading berth with a list and proceeding to a bunker berth to take on fuel, prior-to actually heading-out to sea. That and apparently being over-draft, however, the video does not specify by how much the vessel was over-draft. Again, in this era, basis the draft issue alone, a certificate of seaworthiness to proceed to sea would not be granted.

Old 61 is not safe enough for people to walk on, but good for dump trucks to drive on. All of our names, messages and art are now preserved under that dirt forever.

My parents and I sailed frequently to Catalina, back in the '60's and '70's. I am age 60 now, I can just imagine all the incredible antiques and early vintage items available to purchase there, second hand, back then. We would stay in a very old style stucco hotel, and I remember as a child, seeing the Wrigley mansion during a long walk.

You know, there's this kind of special love for animals these days that borders on the insane. I can understand children but we're talking grown adults. To the point that take over any compassion for humans in general. It's kind of scary.
