Update: for those that this fix did not work. I did a factory reset and it fixed my solar remote skipping issue. Go to: settings>general>reset. Code 0000

Dang. Mine skips in apps but works on home screen. My settings are Remote Button Repeat Off and still does it.. AhhhHHHH

So strange. This is my second frame TV and I’ve had this one for maybe 8 months and it randomly started doing this a few days ago. This made it stop skipping on most apps, but the it’s still skipping in KZfaq and Prime. It’s so frustrating!

I had the same problem with KZfaq and Prime skipping every other number and letter in the search area. I fixed it by going to the Home Page, scroll down to Settings, scroll over to All Settings, go to General & Privacy, Scroll to Power and Energy Savings, scroll to Screen Saver and turn off the blue light if it's on. So far, I've had no problems with the TV working with Prime and KZfaq. I have an old Samsung QN90B, so I don't know if yours works exactly this way. Good Luck!

My new universal remote skipped every other space with each push of a button. Very annoying. This fixed it. Dropped mine to 0.5 sec

Thank you. What’s odd is I didn’t have this repeat issue for the first 2 years, it just started, however, I hardly use this remote unless I have to do tv specific issues. Mainly use my Xbox as my console for tv beyond just gaming.
