thank you for putting this together, as always your videos are so well done, I so enjoyed watching it over 2 days on my breaks from gardening outside in the heat :). Have lots of garlic curing, part of my onions are pulled and also curing. Going to be making blackberry jam this afternoon grown on my property also, makes them even better :), trying to live as sustainable and resilient life as I can here as well. You do good work! Thank You!!

I'll have to do this in many sittings Will, thank you for the storehouse. I had a steam burn last week and it hurt like hell, looked up how to treat it. Blow me down, I forgot the aloe I have in the hall, it's small nut mighty. Stopped that painful burn within a few hours and it's all healed now.... Never be without an Aloe plant when you have a burn, it's like magic. Watching you preserve the Rutabagers - Swede to me in the UK. I buy one and keep it in the bottom of the fridge for weeks and it's fine, but I live alone and need little.
@HoneybeeHollowGardens2 күн бұрын
Put mustard on that burn! I used to work at Cracker Barrel & that is what we'd do... aloe now, of course, since I have it everywhere. The rutabaga storage is great for me, fridge is slap full all the time this time of year

In the early 90's, I was a young mother with 4 littles and so very badly wanted this life. At least, my perceived version of this life. YT did not exist and I had no idea, no picture, of how to make it happen. Husband wasn't supportive. It never happened. Flash forward, my children are grown, I still live in town. But it's not a sad story. I live quietly, resiliently, I garden with a vengeance and have transformed my little spot on earth to my oasis. And I love getting to watch from afar - those, like you, who get to follow your dream life.

Love these videos! Have you noticed in your area that certain types of mushrooms are coming in a lot earlier than normal? We have picked two five gallon buckets of chanterelles on one acre of our property this past week. We never see chanterelles this early. It’s usually September/October when we start finding big patches of them.
@HoneybeeHollowGardens9 күн бұрын
No, we had a really dry spring so if anything I feel like things are arriving later than normal

You are a very rare young man, in a good way!! Hard working, caring etc.. I pray that your channel will encourage other young men to step up instead of playing on their computer games all day. Otto is a very lucky child to have you both as amazing examples in his life.❤❤❤ Our Country needs more Will's & Taylor's 😊😊. God Bless your family ❤❤

BTW, my Grandson is 23 yrs old and is a good kid. He works at a grocery store, but stays on his computer games for hours and hours .... he barely even goes outside. I wish he was more like you. I will just keep praying 🙏 😊

There are a lot of us out there, working 60 hours a week is common in my friend group! It’s a difficult world out there that is hard to get ahead or even stay afloat in. I don’t blame many young people’s pessimism. I find this life is more rewarding, maybe not monetarily, but for the soul. This work can’t be stolen from me & my family. Hope your grandson finds a way he enjoys, much love!

Hello from Central ⛵⛵ Lakes Region New Hampshire. Such abundance! Well done with the Ruth Stout method! I used that back in the 1970s when I was in my 20s. I had her original book.Yes, I am an Original Mother Earther and still farming and gardening in New Hampshire. Not many of us remaining from that era, but happy to see young farmers carry on. We have many non profit programs in New Hampshire to help teach organic gardening and small farmsteading. I would love a longer growing season here, but I guess that is what 💚 green houses are for :-)

Hello from our farm in New Hampshire. New to your channel. Those noodle beans look interesting. We grow Provider bush beans for our main harvest, but I would to try these long variety beans. I enjoy trying new plants. We are growing Malabar spinach and that does well if I start the seeds indoors with the tomatoes. Good to see all that you grow and harvest. We raise grass fed polled Hereford for breeding stock, commercial hay and logging ~ Diane

Something told me to grow noodle beans🌱 this year, but I didn't know why, I guess I thought the universe wanted me to grow them so I could save seed before the seed I had, got too old. okay now I know - noodle bean braids, I guess this is their special purpose.
