How’s clutch pressure and angle is it stiff or soft and does pedal angle allow heel to stay on floor or is it more upward to where you have to fully lift foot from pedal to pedal when shifting is shifter light or does it wiggle sorry for all the questions
@NEMotoGuy
@NEMotoGuy 3 күн бұрын
Clutch pressure is pretty good tbh. It's not too stiff, and definitely not soft like the Type R or Type S. You can rest your heel on the floor, that is definitely not an issue. Shifter is nice and crisp. It is medium in heft feeling. No wiggle at all, it is a sharp, precise shifter and the throws are not too long and are smooth.

I’m desperately searching for a deep exhaust tone, like the stock one, that is just a bit louder. I will say that pretty much any GRC exhaust that I’ve heard (in videos) sounds better than damn near most 4-cylinders, but I want something that doesn’t have the popcorn/tight fart sound. I do appreciate the detailed video, and it’s mostly subjective, but damn it, am I making it too hard? I’m just trying to find a balance between stock and being obnoxious.

No no, finding an exhaust to your liking definitely isn't easy. Sometimes it takes a while, but you're definitely not alone here. I know it's hard, but hearing these in person with aftermarket exhaust really help. If you can find anyone locally that has one, definitely see if you can check it out.

@NEMotoGuy
@NEMotoGuy 2 ай бұрын
Eyy congrats on the GRC! Getting the official arrival date is big! I was hoping to make a video of driving the Mazda 3 in the snow, but the storms ended too soon lol. From the 2+ years of owning and driving the Mazda 3 in the snow, overall it did great with no issues or getting stuck. Granted we never drove when there was a heavy storm or blizzard, so I can't speak to those levels of performance. The good thing about the Mazda 3 Turbo AWD is that from factory they come with 215 wide wheels/tires that are all season. So this is perfect for cutting through snow. The only thing with the Mazda 3 I will note is the ride height/clearance is pretty low. Comparing it to the GRC its very low. With winter tires the GRC felt unstoppable! I was very confident no matter where I ended up or how much snow was accumulating. Between the AWD, fairly thing snow tires, and the rally-ish ride height the GRC is a BEAST!
